To the PNM’s from our seniors!💌

Formal recruitment is just a few days away! Hear from our seniors, and some advice they recommend for the recruitment process. We can’t wait to meet you all in a few days!

“My biggest advice is to let recruitment be about finding people you genuinely connect with, not trying to fit yourself into what you think a sorority girl is supposed to be. Go into every conversation with an open mind, ask the questions you actually want to know the answers to, and pay attention to where you feel the most comfortable being yourself. Recruitment can feel overwhelming when you’re trying to remember every detail, but you don’t need to have everything figured out right away. The right place will feel less like you’re trying to convince yourself and more like you naturally belong there. Once recruitment is over, give yourself time to enjoy it all. Some of the people you meet during this process may end up becoming the people you never expected to need in your life.”

“If I could go back and give myself one piece of advice for recruitment, it would be to not stress over the things you cannot control. This process is so unique to every individual, and it’s easy to get caught up in overthinking every conversation or worrying about what comes next.
The best thing you can do is be completely yourself, trust the process, and take in every moment. Recruitment goes by so quickly, and you don’t want to look back and realize you spent the experience worrying instead of enjoying it. The right place for you will feel right, and you will end up exactly where you are meant to be. Be yourself, trust yourself, and enjoy the journey. We can’t wait to meet you!!”

“If I could go back and give my freshman self one piece of advice, it would be to stop worrying so much about making the “right” choice and just pay attention to how people make you feel. As a senior, I can promise you that the little moments end up meaning so much more than you realize during recruitment. The random late-night conversations, getting ready together,
