5 Places You Have To Visit While in Ubud! 🐒🌳

Things we’ve seen/explored/designed over last weeks: got to see the amazing new cinema and space at @cocaubud; heard some great talks at @intothewild.club including by @made.masak; prepped Macet Bali to go to Jakarta to the @indonesiadesigndistrict; saw the journal canang charm for the first time; got to play a small role in prepping for @jenggala_official’s 50th birthday event; stopped by the new @rad_ruangartaderau exhibition; sent too many gifs in the group chat (and too many revised layouts); and saw our beautiful @tokoelami products become part of @indonesiadesigndistrict’s Artisan Alley!

Last week, I had dinner with my father, who asked me, “What are you doing for work now? I see you playing all the time when I check your social media 😆”

So here’s a lil footage of what I do for work 😛 Hopefully people won’t think I’m doing sketchy things other than sketching some artworks 🥺

I’m still drawing → designing → adapting → producing → playing → repeat 💖

You can find the sticker I designed in this video at @tokoelami 🌼

I designed the canang (daily religious offering made by Balinese Hindus to express gratitude) for @tokoelami, and when they told me they were turning it into stickers, my nephew saw me working on it and said he wanted one! So I ordered a bunch of them,

At first they wanted to send them to me for free, BUT I was like, pleaseeee exchange money with meee 😭😂 And then I received a few extra cute stickers too!

The naga, Hanuman, and elephant ones were designed by Willzie ✨

Very happy opening this little envelope! Now I just have to figure out where to stick them all!

Our journey began in Bali at the end of 2023.

Since then, we’ve been transforming plastic waste into sunglasses and accessories - crafted, assembled, and quality checked in our Bali workshop.

A better alternative to conventional plastic sunglasses, for a future with less plastic waste.

Some of the places and things we’ve seen over the last few weeks. We’re deep in planning mode (again) and also giving some attention to our beloved toko.
