The ‘Double or Nothing’ video is a stark reminder of the devastation of gambling addiction. Better luck next time…until there is no next time! Or is there?????? @tom.j.flynn #woetoyoumusic #whoonearthband #doubleornothing #letitride

🥀 🇺🇸 𝑭𝑬𝑹𝑽𝑬𝑵𝑪𝑬 : "𝑶𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒖𝒎" | 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒔
✧ 𝑺𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑼𝒑𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒆 & 𝑶𝒑𝒖𝒔 𝑼𝒏𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒅

“Mother, tell me how am I supposed to breathe like I'm alive?”

The body turns into a cage and daily life becomes a silent space, where existence fades away under the weight of an impenetrable mental exhaustion. This frozen feeling of dissociation is exactly what Fervence captures in "Oculum", taken from their new album "Constructs".

The band unpacks the suffocating darkness of a prolonged battle with decay. The climax arrives with this desperate cry to the mother... a raw admission of vulnerability where all defenses collapse in a search for a single breath to keep human nature alive against internal chaos.

As founding member and guitarist Trent Odneal revealed, "Oculum" draws its heavy, abrasive inspiration directly from the raw and gritty aesthetic of DEFTONES’ self-titled album ("Deftones", 2003). This deliberate blending of atmospheric alternative rock elements with modern progressive metalcore is what gives the track its deeply human, yet dark and cinematic character.

A sonic monument against existential alienation, capturing the urgent need for escape at the exact moment the entire world around us shatters into pieces.

🗓️ New album "Constructs" & "Oculum" Music Video out now via Metal Blade Records

𝑼𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒖𝒍𝒔𝒆: The release has been met with a sense of creative surprise. Fans worldwide embraced the new material warmly, captivated by Billelis' breathtaking artwork for the album, as well as Stevie B.’s vocal transitions between alternative melodies and visceral growls. This shift toward a heavier, mid-tempo atmospheric groove layered with synths caught those expecting relentless blast beats off guard, ultimately delivering an unexpected sonic path that pleasantly startles even traditional listeners of the genre.

Creating more art with @tom.j.flynn for the next @monochromaticblack album in a beautiful home built in the 1700s today. I love those textures the light is creating through the old windows and smoke.
