This past year was really special, probably my favorite year of my career so far. I put together this reel of some of the projects I directed in 2024, and I’m really pumped on how it all came together.

I had the honor of directing a multi-cam production of @offspring performing live at The Stone Pony. Getting to film a band I grew up listening to, in a small club venue, with crowd surfers literally falling on us while we were filming, was a pretty surreal experience to say the least. Here’s a small peek at some of the moments we captured. More to come soon!

New edit/vfx for @inthismomentofficial ft. @dayseeker “I Want To Believe”. Always a pleasure collaborating with director @michaellombardiofficial and his crew who captured the band footage on green screen and had me handle the vfx environment/post production. The video premiered today along with their full album Witch.

New music video I directed for @thecallingmusic - “Dust” out now. I always remembered hearing “Wherever You Will Go” everywhere back in the early 00s so it’s an honor to have contributed to their comeback release almost 20 years later. New edit/vfx work for @dirtyheads - “Sound Boy Killa”.

Director @michaellombardiofficial and DP @chasebowman shot the performance on a blue screen, then it was on me to build everything else from the ground up. I had a loose direction and just ran with it.

The entire environment was built in Unreal Engine. I pieced together the speaker stacks by hand, dropped the performances into the world, then programmed all the camera movement and recorded a bunch of different passes like I was shooting it for real. From there I brought everything into Final Cut to shape the edit and add some stylization.

Funny enough, the stuttery motion you see was actually a mistake. I rendered everything at the wrong frame rate and it gave it this almost 18fps, old film feel. At first I thought I screwed it up, but after watching it a few times I started to love it. Michael pushed me to lean into it even more with grain and texture and it ended up becoming a huge part of the look.

This one feels really special to me. Super grateful to Dirty Heads and Michael for trusting me to bring this vision to life.
