2016. A series.

1. 2/3rds of @heaththeband - the up-and-coming band I was in. @samwilsonsounds is the vocalist for almost all my male-voiced covers!
2. The school bus we bought for our 23-night UK/EU tour (my first vehicle purchase!)
3. “Noah” (the bus) getting papped in Paris
4. The night I met my wife at one of our shows in Belgium
5. We absolutely had to see each other again the next day to drink through our hangovers.
6. Downing shots for vitality with maybe 2-3 shows left to play.
7. Apparently I sang some stuff for our album, I don’t remember this I was never allowed to sing.

I also started work on my first Baltic House Orchestra tracks that year… they wouldn’t be released until 2017 but it’s mad that it’s been 10 years of epic music.

Here’s to another ten Xx

For @whizzkidzuk and their “Childhood Can’t Wait” campaign, we set out to capture one simple truth: every child deserves a childhood that moves.

The charity wanted a film that felt nostalgic but urgent - a reminder that while most kids race through playgrounds and puddles without thinking twice, too many are still waiting for the right wheelchair to make that possible.

We built the story from a series of vignettes of childhood. These quiet, observational moments gave space for Charlie’s energy and joy to shine through. Watching her move, laugh, and live became the heartbeat of the film.

With @julietklottrup directing, her documentary eye brought a timeless honesty to every frame, with the result being a piece that feels both timeless and immediate, reminding us that childhood should be for everyone.

That kind of response doesn’t happen by accident.

We built a bedroom set inside Fender HQ and teamed up with @mother_vulture to launch the new Gretsch Streamliner and Electromatic Jet Collection.

This campaign was about shifting perspective. Showing that Gretsch isn’t a relic from the past, but a force built for what’s next.

(And yeah, kicking a TV really drives that home.)
