A major part of architecture is understanding and responding to the surrounding environment to create spaces that are both functional and visually compelling. To help students develop a mindset of possibility and creativity, Tom Krulevitch begins with an exercise where students design an abstract box. He then challenges them to transform that abstract concept into a full architectural rendering. Each semester, this project pushes students to think beyond the limits they place on themselves and explore new creative possibilities.

Inside- Out!

Tom Krulevitch’s Architecture class has completed their “Inside-Out” final presentations.

This two-part project started with students making an irregular shape out of a cube. Next, students design a functional architectural structure using the cube they designed.
Great job everybody!

2023 Arnold Invitational in the books! This started as a tennis tournament in 2017 for a group of friends from the Bay Area. Last year we transformed it to a pickleball tournament (why wouldn’t we?!?!) - and this year, using MLP format and rally scoring. Best one yet… and a branded Arnold Invitational tournament flag 🤩 🏓⛰️🍻
