🚨 14 YEARS OF GHOST CULT 🚨

This weekend, Ghost Cult Magazine and our website turns 14 years old. Established in the doomsday year of 2012, Ghost Cult Magazine has provided daily music news, interviews, and reviews and concert and festival coverage all over the world. We aare dedicated to covering Rock, Metal, Punk, Metalcore, post-Hardcore, Hardcore, Indie Rock, Doom, Prog, Death Metal, Black Metal, Sludge, Industrial, Grindcore, Dark Folk, Synthwave, other related genres, and geek culture as well!

We live in a time when journalists are respected less than ever, and the music industry itself is on the struggle bus these days. It is tougher than ever to do what we do, and to do it well. Bands can barely make a sustainable living. Even the biggest bands aren't immune to album and touring failures. At the same time, we remain steadfast in our mission. A dedicated team of volunteers brings you music coverage on this website and our other channels, because we love to do it. We love music as much as you do. It starts there. Underground music fans, especially rock and metal fans, are the most loyal and passionate in the world. We are grateful for anyone who has, in some way, shape, or form, helped to support us on this journey!

I really appreciate this review of 𝙄’𝙡𝙡 𝙂𝙚𝙩 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙊𝙪𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙚, 𝘽𝙖𝙗𝙮 from @tomosmansounds at @newnoisemagazine. It is very meaningful to feel like someone has listened enough to your music to put together the clues and unlock an understanding of it, and even more meaningful when they write about it so beautifully in an effort to help share the key. I am furthermore honored and eternally motivated by any suggestion that I am in the legacy of Scott Walker, one of my greatest musical heroes. Thanks again, Tom.

One year ago, @tomosmansounds interview members of @bunueltheband, including Eugene Robinson (@mrsleep3). Artist, author, speaker, and fighter doesn't even scratch the surface. This clip from that interview reminds us how powerful Eugene is. Now we need to help him fight the biggest challenge of his life.

Please donate to his @gofundme, if you can.

"Tomorrow on Record Store Day, Saturday, April 18, SKiN GRAFT Records will release SUPERUNIT: Maximum Implosion, bringing together the collected collaborations of Zeni Geva and Steve Albini (as musician) for the first time on vinyl.

The release includes 1993’s "Nai-Ha", live album "All Right, You Little Bastards" and the two tracks produced from the SUPERUNIT recording sessions.

In addition to the double-colored vinyl, the release will include a color booklet with extensive liner notes, a pull-out poster, and a comic by cartoonist Rob Syers.

Thanks to SKiN GRAFT, New Noise are delighted to be able to premiere the release in full today.
