CELEBRATING COACHES

The coaches who have influenced my journey taught me what real leadership looks like. There are WAY TOO MANY coaches that have had some type of impact on me in my 20+ years of coaching - many in picture grid and I am grateful for them all! (I don't have pics of everyone...sorry!!). My first coach that had a major impact on me was my dad...taught me how patience and calmness was important as a coach.

I’m also proud of the current (and past) HUI coaches who bring that same passion and purpose to our athletes. You are the core of our culture! Thank you all for impacting my life!

After great calls and conversations with Coach Paschal today & the past few weeks, happy to announce that Lady HUI Black’s very own Sydney Moffitt @sydney_m_27 (Del Oro HS class of 2027) has received an OFFER from Framingham State University @fsu_rams in Massachusetts! Big thank you to the coaching staff & entire program for believing in her as much as we do! Sydney is the definition of hard work, dedication, and someone always willing to do the little things to make her & her team better. Couldn’t be more proud of her, as she puts in consistent work in the gym AND in the classroom. She had a GREAT spring/summer expanding her game even more, and embodies everything that our program stands for! CONGRATS Syd so so happy for you🩷🖤
