You know how mad I was when I first seen Cactus Jack Air Jordan 1s!!!? Especially when all I wanted was a brown OG High Jordan 1!!!? Man I still remember that first day.. it was a shock cause why is the swoosh backwards? To well I guess I won’t be getting these once the hype and excitement finally came in. That’s what I still get now. 2 decades plus and I still get excited for new Jordan 1s.

Happy 16th anniversary, Kyungsoo.

Celebrating 20 years since our first date in August 2006 and 16 years of marriage. An evening of a thoughtfully and exquisitely designed Michelin starred omakase led by Chef Nozomi Mori and her all female team. The Tsuru-ume yuzushu was divine. We had our first piece of Sagoshi that frankly moved us. A little closer together. @sushimorinozomi

Gratitude is buying our FIRST HOME ❤️ For the span of a decade, we lived in an 892 sq ft. home with 5 creatures (4 humans+a doggo). It was where Tom & I lived the majority of our marriage and where we brought 2 new souls into the world.But for us, our little space was the perfect place to start our family.We learned to grow together through thick & thin and were forced to face each other during conflict, repair & loving one another because there was literally nowhere to run. It’s proven to us that happiness is not the size or price of a home but the people & life built within it.For years, we saved - manifesting & envisioning our future home while we were building the foundation of our family in our small, humble space.This is where the two of us began chasing our dreams, where we set forth to make a place of safety, realness, gratitude & a home base from the outside world that I never had & dreamt of as a child.
We’ve always marched to the beat of our own drum and stayed true to ourselves. At one point, we lost it all in pursuit of 1 dream only for another to be realized-for Tom.We knew walking the unbeaten path as 2 artists could possibly mean a delayed payoff-or no payoff at all-beyond a deep fulfillment of doing what we love.Seeing this peaceful home come into our lives feels like both a bonus & a miracle to us.
For this milestone, there was no one other than @peggylimrealtor -my Peggy Unni-who we wanted to go on this journey with. Peggy is my childhood friend & was my first bible study teacher. She later met Tom in middle school & all our lives eventually converged.She is one of the few people who knew both of us separately since childhood. She has so much integrity & is one of the most trustworthy friends we have.So much so that we took a chance on buying our house from abroad, while we were in Korea! Thank you, Peggy Unni for being a part of our lives in this way & for your incredible generosity!You are so special to our family.
I was born into a rented room of a shared 2 bedroom apartment in Long Beach, CA. I never forget where I come from. Guy & Gal say they miss our old apartment & like it better than our house! In my heart, I love that they say that.
