A few days ago, I was invited to try @ton.pilates and decided to book their Ton Challenge class ✨

I really enjoyed the class ! The studio in Astoria is beautiful, the instructor was so lovely and she took the time to explain each movement. I especially loved the huge windows in the reformer room, such a beautiful space to work out in ! 🤍

Unfortunately, I didn’t get to try their infrared heated class, which was actually the one I was most curious about in the first place, so we’ll definitely have to run it back !🔥

Thank you, @ton.pilates for having me! 🫶🏼🤍

Always excited to discover new workout studios around the city !🗽

Life has a funny way of humbling you… just when you think you’ve got it all figured out. 😂🤍

Plot twist: you never really do. You just get better at improvising. ✨

Engineers clocked out and took on Pilates

Switched up our usual basketball runs for a heated reformer class with the EEC community.

I started Everyday Engineer Club to create more moments like this—space to move, try something new, and build friendships beyond work. Thank you Tōn Pilates ( @ton.pilates )for hosting us!

What should we try next? 👀

Everyday Engineer hits Pilates ⚙️

Brought the EEC community together at Tōn Pilates for our first infrared reformer Pilates class. A new challenge, a good workout, and another chance to connect beyond work.

Thank you @ton.pilates for welcoming us into your studio and creating such a great experience for the community. More movement, wellness, and connection to come.

Control is the foundation of strength. Every movement has a purpose, every detail matters. It’s not about how far you can go, but how well you can control the way there.

That’s the essence of Contrology.

My first Pilates class had me looking around to see if everyone else was struggling too. Definitely a different challenge from my typical pick up basketball, but I’m already down for round two.

I’ll be back in Astoria with @ton.pilates and @everydayengineerclub this Saturday if you feel like trying something new with us.
