Weekend project! Steph had the idea to transform our garage into a gym with these acoustic panels from Amazon. Love how it turned out… maybe we will actually workout now 🤔

She saw a studio. I saw a basement.
Steph walked into a house in Morristown that had already sat on the market for two years and started describing rooms that didn’t exist yet. I stood in the lower level doing math on why it wouldn’t work.

She was right.

I was the one who needed convincing. Two months and $15,000 later that basement was a studio apartment. Seven years later the same tenant is still there.
If you’re the spouse who sees it, keep talking. If you’re the one doing math in the corner… sometimes the math isn’t the whole picture.

Just a friendly reminder that family photos can look like this! They can be taken in your backyard, doing something you love, maybe getting a little messy, but capturing real moments you always want to remember. It’s easy to overlook these every day moments as “photo worthy”, but they are so special because one day they won’t be our every day anymore. The day-to-day slowly evolves and grows with our ever-changing little ones. You don’t always see it happening, but it feels like a blink and you suddenly realize something’s different. I want to make sure that even though no season lasts forever you can always revisit these memories through your photos 🤍
