Jay Howell (@punksgitcut) is a legend who blessed Charleston with his creative energy and generous spirit. As an artist with mainstream success through his television series’ “Bob’s Burgers” and “Sanjay and Craig,” his exhibition #inthestudio, (produced in partnership with @roughhousepictures) generated a buzz a few notches above our typical frequency.

On Friday, we sold out our ticketed preview featuring an incredible performance by @thomasdollbaum. Thank you @ianpartisan and @brooksreitz for your collaboration. Thank you @dertburger and @punch_runners for the hospitality. Thanks to everyone who purchased tickets and contributed your energy to the show.

On Saturday afternoon, we welcomed a lucky group of diehard fans to stand in line to have a live portrait drawn in #bobsburgers style. Immense gratitude to Jay for the 4.5 hours he spent in the saddle, completing these amazing keepsakes for our audience.

On Saturday evening, we welcomed an excited and engaged crowd to the exhibition. We are thrilled to have sold out all the prints and all but one original illustration. (Link in bio). We are so thankful for our collectors who make this grand art experiment possible.

The night closed with an insane performance by @monsoonband, who shot over from Athens, GA to melt our faces. Check out their music and support their upcoming live shows.
