Some cables blend into the stage.

Neon Orange showed up to be seen. 🟠🌊

Bright, bold and nearly impossible to lose in a dark studio, crowded gear bag or onstage cable pile. It delivers the same hand-built Tsunami reliability—just with the volume turned all the way up on color.

Would you rock Neon Orange, or is it too loud for your setup?

Choose Neon Orange for your next custom-built Tsunami cable at TsunamiCables.com.

Same plug. Completely different job. 🎸🔊

An instrument cable carries the small, delicate signal from your guitar or bass to your amp. Its shielding helps protect that signal from hum and interference.

A speaker cable carries the amp’s high-power output to the speaker cabinet using two heavier conductors.

Mix them up and you could get noise, lost power, excess heat or unnecessary stress on your amplifier.

Check the label. Use the right cable for the job.

Because signal matters. 🌊

The details get a solo. 🎸

Yes, we took glamour shots of a cable connector. This is what happens when cable nerds get a camera.

Hand-built, stage-ready, and dressed in red, white and blue. Swipe through for a closer look.

What should we zoom in on next: connectors, cable colors or the workbench?

**NS-5 vs. NS-5 🤯**

On the left is my NS-5 serial number 433-1-5, the very first five-string NS bass produced. This bass was crafted in the late 1970s at the Brooklyn Workshop and was completed in January 1980. At that time, there were no five-string bass pickups available, so the shop creatively used half of a second DiMarzio Model P pickup to span all five strings. This bass has been part of my personal instrument collection for almost thirty years!

On the right is an NS-5 made by Spector, the current Korg/Spector company, as a tribute to my original NS-5. It was displayed at the January 2026 NAMM Trade Show in California. Since this bass was copied from my website, it was quite a shock to see it at the show!
I do not own this bass.

I took both photos and tried to align them as closely as possible for your viewing pleasure.

Which bass do you prefer? Perhaps both?
I’d love to hear your thoughts—comments are welcome! 👇

And as always, be sure to see it all at VintageSpector.com !

Welcome to Keith’s Bench—the place where cable, connectors and a little obsession become something built to handle the real world. 🌊

No assembly line. No mystery machine.

Just real hands assembling, soldering, finishing and testing each Tsunami cable one at a time.

It takes longer to build cables this way, but when your signal matters, the details matter too.

This is where your cable begins.

Built at the Tsunami Bench.
Made for your rig.
Ready to Ride the Wave.

MADE TO ORDER. BUILT FOR YOUR RIG. 🌊

Every Tsunami cable is assembled and tested one at a time at the Tsunami Bench.

You choose the details:

• The length
• The cable color
• The connector configuration

Whether it’s headed for the stage, studio, worship service or practice room, your cable should fit the way you actually use your gear—not the other way around.

So, what would YOU build?

Drop your color, length and connector setup in the comments. 👇

Build yours at [www.tsunamicables.com](http://www.tsunamicables.com)

Straight or 90°—which plug are you running? 🌊

OPTION A: The straight ¼” plug
great for recessed inputs and easy to grip and unplug.

OPTION B: The 90° plug
keeps your cable close to your gear and is less likely to get bumped.

There’s no universal winner. It all depends on your instrument, your input and your setup.
Drop A or B in the comments-and tell us why it works for your rig!

Built at the Tsunami bench.
Made to make music. 🌊
This Great White cable setup
finished with a Tele 90 connector
Started with the details, found its place in the rig and made its way to the stage with the incredible Tony Grey!

That’s what our new series, FROM SEA TO STAGE, is all about: following the cable from the bench where it was built to the musicians and moments it was built for.

Because a cable shouldn’t just look good sitting on a workbench. It needs to perform when the lights come on!

Where will your cable take you next?
