We all got things we’re working on. I’m transforming my body over 100 days without looking in a mirror. Only you get to see the results and then i’ll do a reveal on day 100.
I took my active rest day today as an opportunity to improve some aspects of my golf game. This is all about small wins building overtime to get big results.

Follow to see the final reveal on day 100.

What does a pool noodle and golf have in common? Absolutely nothing lol I’m using it as a protective covering for my alignment stick so I don’t take out my club (or myself) 😅

Real MVP this week: the blue brick. Fixing two of my biggest problems at once, coming in too steep and over-rotating.

Consistency on the course is up, this swing rebuild is finally clicking! ⛳️😆

I played horribly in 2 member guests. Too many swing thoughts crippled me. That shit is over. I will never again let my brain undermine my #golf. The objective is to get the ball into the hole in as few as strokes as possible. I've never been a pretty swinger of the #club. Who cares? Guiding the ball undermines my success.

The @steadfastgolfco #jupiterlite shaft is staying in my bag. No, I am not hitting it 20 yards further. What I am doing is hitting it straighter. My smash factor is far better. My golf course results are a lot better. Time wil tell, but the initial results on the @shot_scope #LM1 demonstrate what is actually happening...and it's good. #Golf #golfswing #getbetter

Your golf swing may not be the problem. Your golf mobility might be.

You can work on your backswing and downswing all day, but if your hips and thoracic spine cannot physically rotate into those positions, making a consistent swing change becomes much harder.

I joined Clay Ballard from @topspeedgolf to break down two simple golf mobility tests that every golfer should try:

• The 90/90 hip mobility test
• The thoracic spine rotation test
These assessments can help you determine whether limited hip rotation or upper-back mobility is affecting your:
• Backswing rotation
• Downswing and follow-through
• Ability to stay in your golf posture
• Clubhead speed and distance
• Lower-back comfort
• Overall swing consistency

We also show you how to improve your trail-hip rotation, lead-hip mobility, and upper-body separation with a few simple golf mobility exercises.

The goal is not to become as flexible as possible.

The goal is to give your body enough movement to make the golf swing you are trying to make.

Big thank-you to Clay for having me out and helping connect each mobility test directly to what happens in the golf swing.

Which is more difficult for you: hip rotation or upper-back rotation?
