Oil painting created as a commission. Really lovely story where they had found my work at the Seattle Art Fair and had come to my last show.

This two headed snail with a pearlescent shell is already at its new home!

Happy Holidays from Motivo Media!

As we look through the highlights of the past year, we’re filled with gratitude for our amazing clients and all of the rewarding experiences that 2024 provided. We expanded our team; received film festival nominations; interviewed doctors, scholars, govt officials, gig workers, activists, and an indigenous tribe, among many others; shot a TV pilot in front of a massive LED wall; and had the opportunity to film all over the United States, Spain, Colombia, the United Kingdom, India, and the Amazon Rainforest.

Cheers to another year of collaboration, creativity, and meaningful storytelling.

Recently, the Motivo team flew out to Los Angeles to film the pilot for a fascinating educational show about the nature of genius hosted by neuroscientist @jared.cooney.horvath. We're eager to share the finished episode, but in the meantime, check out these behind-the-scenes images from our multifaceted shoot that utilized the innovative technology of the Unreal Engine on a massive LED wall that allowed us to create virtual environments limited only by our imaginations. Between animation, VFX, and eye-opening neuroscience, this will be one you won't want to miss.

We had a wonderful time at the @seattlefilmfestival capturing footage of the event and conducting interviews with sports commentator Kenny Mayne and Olympic gold medalist Sugar Ray Seales, both of whom had short documentaries in the festival.

Big thanks to them and the SFF team. Keep an eye out for more Motivo coverage!

We’re excited to share a sneak peek behind the scenes of our recent project with the amazing @seattlewaldorfschool. Our team had an incredible time working with the students and staff to capture the details that make a Waldorf education truly special.

Swipe through to see our crew in action and stay tuned for the final video.

Big thanks to all the METHOD Artists who donated work for the auction. Thanks to everyone who came out to support and to those who supported our auction online. Community means everything to us and we’re honored to have the support to continue this space for experimental installation work. Special thanks to @djwaxwitch for keeping the vibe going all night!

Sharing fun highlights from our best event yet! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support the project earlier this month in Chicago. We couldn't have pulled it off without such amazing performers and volunteers. We danced and raised our glasses... and there might have been some acro in there too. 😉

@lusiolights returns to Mary Olson Farm for two evenings of art by dark starting August 18. Nature and creativity intertwine as locally-crafted light sculptures illuminate the garden grounds and live musicians. The Lusio Lights Festival is free for all ages, so bring the family (and your dancing shoes). See you there!
