She came, she twirled, she stole the show. 🦝🩰✨

A little mischief, a little magic, and a whole lot of glitter! 🎀💖 just like me today, adding some mini details, hihi! ✨

Meet Miss Raccoonette, our raccoon ballerina, created at @pinotspalettetoronto 2866 Dundas St W in the Junction @torontojunction for Window Wonderland 2026! 🎨✨

This year’s theme, Movement + Glimmers, is all about finding little sparks of joy, connection, and wonder in our everyday lives. And what better way to celebrate than with a dancing raccoon in a tutu? 🦝💕

But wait… she has a little secret! 👀✨ This painting will come to life through an augmented reality (AR) animation using the @artiviveapp ,bringing a little extra movement and magic to the artwork. 📱💫

And there’s more creativity to discover! 🎨💖 The artists behind the Window Wonderland creations will also be showcasing their canvas art at @latitude44art — another wonderful way to celebrate local talent and the vibrant Junction art community. 🖼️✨

Come explore, discover, and experience the magic of Window Wonderland in the Junction from November 27, 2026, to January 31, 2027! ❄️🎨

Here’s a little peek at the finished piece… and stay tuned for the painting timelapse, coming next! 🎬🩰

A quick timelapse of this window art🧑🏼‍🩰 @stencilvr helped us keep the outline transfer close to the sketch, so that it works well for the animator who will be adding some movement to this design🌟 And here’s the description I wrote:

The theme of “Movement + Glimmers” comes alive in this elegant Crystal Ballet. A graceful dancer poised upon an icy star sways serenely amidst the colourful sparkle and shimmering glow of fluttering snowflakes, wrapped in a soft flurry. Inspired by the magic of a winter night, holiday decorations, and ballet’s seemingly fragile yet sharp and fluid moves, the mural captures a sense of lightness and wonder.
❄️🩰❄️

So excited to see this @makersmarketstore window art come alive via @artiviveapp along with the rest of the WindowWonderland storefront murals - enjoy this AR art walk on the streets of @torontojunction between November 27 and January 31✨

A group show of the project artists is coming as well at the @latitude44art so stay tuned!
