The Junction BIA is a community-driven non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the economic & cultural vitality of the Junction.

A BIA does a lot of behind-the-scenes work. But none of it happens without the businesses that make up our neighbourhood.

More than 175 local businesses help shape the Junction every day. They welcome customers, create jobs, invest in their storefronts, support community programs and give this neighbourhood its character.

The BIA supports that work through promotion, advocacy, public-space improvements, grants, partnerships, data, arts programming, events and year-round support for local businesses.

We’re also proud to be Toronto’s year-round AR art destination, with 12 permanent AR murals and 20 AR storefront installations each winter, alongside our support for visual and performing arts.

The goal is simple: a welcoming, distinctive neighbourhood where local businesses can thrive, and people have more reasons to visit, stay, discover and return.

Meet Pizza Cantina, a neighbourhood spot serving Roman-style pizza right here in The Junction.

Their 12” pies are made with high-hydration dough, fermented for 72 hours, and baked in a traditional stone oven for a crust that’s light, crisp, and full of flavour.
