300hr YTT complete. This course wasn’t about the physical practice as we know it and teach. It delved into the history, philosophy, meditation and self enquiry of yoga — the juicy stuff of this wise and complex system.

The content, new friends, nasal/energetic cleansing (pictured hehe), ocean and pool dips, vegan food and stacks of tropical fruit made the long days of focus in Sri Lanka possible.

Final pic from my meditation and philosophy workshop. Here I’m guiding the group through an eyes open meditation 👁️

Not pictured, me using the magic of Yoga Nidra on my breaks to catch up on rest.

Thank you to my brilliant teachers @another_yogi + @ashbrown.meditation

Massage Therapy is now available 6 days a week at @komyunitiwellness
‣ Monday-Saturday
‣ Calm and comforting space
‣ After work appointments avail

We have three experienced Massage Therapists on our team - Junko, Melissa and Tarren.

We believe that massages are an important part of balancing your body and mind, so we’ve developed a range of treatments that are rejuvenating, promote healing, help tend to your nervous system and overall wellbeing.

‣ Remedial Massage: Targets specific areas of tension, fatigue, stress and discomfort to restore balance to your body and mind, alleviate pain, and increase range of motion.
‣ Lymphatic Drainage: Enhances your body’s natural detoxification process. Using gentle rhythmic movements to help to stimulate lymphatic flow, reduce swelling, and boost immune function.
‣ Pregnancy Massage: Tailored to the unique needs of expectant mothers, this treatment helps alleviate pregnancy related discomfort or pain and promotes relaxation.
‣ Shiatsu: This therapeutic massage is rooted in traditional Japanese acupuncture. Pressure points and Meridian stretching techniques are used to promote balance, harmony, and holistic healing.
‣ Abdominal Massage: Chi Nei Tsang is an ancient Taoist practice. The technique can regulate multiple systems of the body from the digestive, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, renal, endocrine and reproductive system.

If you’re needing some body and/or nervous system support you can book massage treatments through our online booking system (link in bio) or by calling the clinic on 03 9995 8880. We’re looking forward to meeting you.

Being generous with our love creates magic. Love widely, love fully, love deeply 💫
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Love because you can
Love because the world needs your light
Love because it heals
Love because it’s a gift
Love because it creates connection
Love because it feels incredible
Love because it’s what you are
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Being generous with your love doesn’t mean you’re happy all the time or that life isn’t full of challenges. Your love may be infused with grief, frustration, yearning or fear but it can all come from love, be transmitted as love and create a means of connection 💛✨

Practitioner Spotlight 🌟

Not only is Self home to all things movement, events and workshops. We have collaborated with some seriously incredibly passionate and talented practitioners.

Meet Tarren, Founder of @touchbodymind and remedial massage therapist within our Self space.

Tarren and I have been connected for many years. I remember Taz sharing with me one day that when she visualised her massage offerings and business she always envisioned it to be aligned with Self. Tarren has committed to sharing her nurturing services with the Self Community and beyond.

Tarren and @touchbodymind offer holistic treatments that are the perfect blend of remedial and relaxation with custom services tailored to you.

Fun fact: coincidence or not.. Self and Touch share the same biz birthday! If that’s not a sign that we were destined to be together I don’t know what is.

We’d love you to show Tarren some love and share your experience or venture over to @touchbodymind for some self care 💕
