Love is a wonderful feeling — but it's also a choice.

It's showing up for the sunny days, the ones that feel easy and warm and good. And it's showing up for the stormy ones too — the days that ask you to work, to stay, to love anyway. The grand gestures and the quiet, simple ones. They all deserve the choice to love.

That's what I watched these two do. For each other. With each other.

I wasn't there as their photographer — I was there as part of the wedding party. But the grooms asked if I'd bring my camera to Provincetown before the nor'easter rolled in, right on time for their wedding day, to capture some sunny day strolls. I was secretly grateful for that storm. We had a small window — just us, their fiercely supportive besties, the streets of P-town, and the calm before the storm. And in that window, I got to capture something I'll never forget: two people, a bit frazzled but still completely at peace in their love, right before the sky opened up. And truthfully, that peace stayed even through the storm.

It gave me faith in them. It made me happy, and honestly, it made me feel at peace for my friend — that he found the right person to feel and choose love with through all kinds of weather.

I'm so glad I got to capture some of those sunny days before the storm, because they'll always be a reminder that both will exist. The sun and the storms. The calm and the chaos.

And together.....all days are the best days. Congratulations, you two. Here's to every single one of them. ☀️⛈️💞

About this weekend- We travelled to Provincetown to celebrate Jesse and Justin’s wedding. The nor’easter blew in which meant they had to pivot to an indoor ceremony. There was so much love in that room, everything was intentional and detailed we all felt it. It was absolutely perfect. I was so honored and happy to be there celebrating the love and joy and FUN of it all. The added bonus was seeing friends I haven’t seen in forever. Jesse and Justin, I wish you both only goodness as you move through this life as a married couple. Love Love Love 💕💕💕

I’m feeling overcome with gratitude and awe.

I just spent 5 days in Arizona performing/filming Tawni O’Dell’s beautiful play WINDOWS alongside luminaries of the Broadway community. People I’ve grown up watching and listening to since I was very young, and whose work helped shape my love for this life long before I ever imagined I might get to share a stage with them.

And then, somehow, the week got cherry-topped with a 15-hour travel day (2 car rides, 2 planes, 1 already long layover delayed, laughter, tears) sitting next to Priscilla Lopez… which I’m fairly certain I could write an entire book about.

This week reminded me what a privilege it is to be an artist. To tell stories, to connect through them, and to share in the laughter, the mess, and the magic.

Some weeks simply become part of you.
This was one of them for me.

Just completed Filming Windows, a new play by @tawniodell about the COVID years at @arizonatheatre.

So honored to be a part of this fast and furious production that has been filmed for streaming. What an incredible cast! Have made new friends for life on this one! Thank you, Mitchell Maxwell for bringing us all together and creating such a memorable experience for all!!

This one was pretty special. 🌊🎶⛵

Summer Breeze: Yacht Rock Classics made its way to Tahoe, and we couldn’t have asked for a more spectacular setting, or a better crowd to spend the evening with.

There’s just something magical about hearing this music surrounded by the beauty of Tahoe, and these photos pretty much say the rest. ✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an unforgettable night by the lake. We’ll be dreaming about this one for a while. 💙
