91 - 📍 Lyme Regis - @townmillbakery

The pearl of Dorset has a bakery to match star✨

Tucked away in the artisan quarter you can find Town Mill Bakery. This bakery is situated close to the historic 700 year old town working watermill.

This award winning, family run, sourdough bakery offers a rustic and wholesome atmosphere with large refectory style tables, pine benches and a dog friendly covered courtyard.

Whether you are starting your coastal adventure, mooching around the charming streets or simply looking for a coffee and pastry stop, Town Mill Bakery is well worth the discovery.

They also offer a great brunch menu if you need something to follow your pastry warm-up.

You can also pre order your sourdough and pick up some essentials in the deli shop.

House coffee from @hundred.house ☕️

Come for the sourdough. Stay for the coffee. Leave with a pastry (or two).

Check out my reels tab for the perfect Lyme Regis coffee led day out itinerary.

County 9 Devon 1 Lyme Regis to Beer.. 🍻 we headed out from the Cobb Lyme Regis with a steady climb up into the woods. And deep in the woods is where we stayed for over 2 /3 hours … we had a cuppa tea n homemade sausage roll on a log 🪵 🫶 and then hit the track again until we reached a golf course and walked downhill into Seaton where we met our lovely local friend @tracievalentine01 .. we enjoyed a coffee with our delicious crab sandwiches from @townmillbakery and set off for last section to end at Beer for a 🍺
(Note the footpath from seaton to beer is closed so had a little reroute along road )#onecountyatatime #hikingdogsofinstagram #eastdevon #swcp

🐾 The best dog-friendly cafés in Lyme Regis

A day exploring Lyme Regis is always better with your four-legged friend by your side — especially when there’s a good coffee and something delicious waiting at the end of your walk.

Ollie has rounded up some of the best dog-friendly cafés in Lyme Regis, perfect for muddy paws, seaside strolls and a well-earned treat. My personal favourites:

Town Mill Bakery @townmillbakery
Lyme Bay Cafe @thelymebaycafe
Kiosk @kiosk_lymeregis

Another breakfast -
Town Mill Bakery, Lyme Regis

On tour in Dorset. Great quality ingredients and everything done very well. The black pudding kept the score high as did the homemade beans.

Only let down was the sourdough — usually a favourite, but this was slightly stale and needed more toasting for me.

Do you like a great coffee? A good slice of sourdough? Head to the @townmillbakery for breakfast, a pleasant stroll down the river Lim will take you to glorious Coombe Street. Peppered with lovely independent shops and a superb bakery. With lovely long benched seating, our recommendations are the Turkish eggs and a flat white. A strong start to your weekend in Lyme Regis. #dorset #breakfast #bakery #weekendaway #airbnb

It’s been a glorious week in Lyme Regis with this view from the terrace 🏖️

A golden sandy beach for creating ever more complicated sandcastle and moat systems ✔️

Several small scale attractions to break up the beach time (aquarium, fossil museum, the old mill) ✔️

A fudge shop where the kids could load up striped paper bags with chunks of salted caramel deliciousness ✔️

Cafes and kiosks aplenty for refuelling with coffees, gelato and fish and chips ✔️

A brilliant pizza restaurant literally next door (Poco Pizza) and lobster on the menu more or less everywhere else (Millside, Tom’s, the Alexandra Hotel) ✔️

No excuse needed for having breakfast out every day (top picks: Swim, Town Mill Bakery, The Lyme Bay) ✔️

A microbrewery where the chunky tables in the courtyard were the perfect forum for the UNO family championship 2026 ✔️

Three little monkeys to keep us on our toes and be at turns delightful and demonic ✔️

That’s a wrap on summer 2026. Now kids - back to school with you 📚

There’s no better feeling as a photographer when the person you’ve photographed is happy with how you ‘captured’ them ❤️

Thank you Nicola ( @kathrensknitwear ) for being in front of my camera, for being you and for being a big part of “I am Lyme” 🙏

The official photos from my Summer Artisan and Vintage Market are here, and I wanted to share some of my favourites with you.

My talented friend @sarah.toms.photography spent the morning at the market and captured so many beautiful moments from the day, including the amazing atmosphere. Thank you so much Sarah 💛

Such wonderful memories were made, thank you again to everyone who was a part of the day 🌟

In case you didn’t know, my next Market will be on 21st and 22nd November; this Winter Market is shaping up to be pretty special too.
