Winter Park is a welcoming year-round community that values sustainable growth while preserving our heritage, adventurous soul and alpine environment.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

❤️ Six years ago, our community watched as the East Troublesome Fire changed Grand County forever. As the fire exploded overnight and our neighbors in Grand Lake evacuated, we were reminded just how quickly life can change—and how much we depend on one another.

In the days and months that followed, our community showed up in countless ways, supporting displaced families, caring for neighbors, providing for first responders, and helping one another begin to rebuild. That spirit of generosity and resilience is what makes our mountain community so special. 🫶

As we remember this time, we honor those who were impacted, those who fought the fire, and everyone who stepped up to help. May we continue to look out for one another, practice fire safety, use our natural resources thoughtfully, and never take for granted the place we call home. ❤️

🎃👮‍♀️ We can’t wait to see all our little ghosts and goblins at Cooper Creek Square’s Halloween Bash this Saturday! We’re excited to be part of this fun, family-friendly community tradition that brings our Fraser Valley neighbors together for safe trick-or-treating and Halloween fun. See you there! 🍬🧡

Couldn’t sleep, so I peeked outside and the stars were out. Obviously that meant grabbing the big camera and giving astrophotography a try. 🌌

🚌 Have you spotted our smaller Lift buses around town? Those little buses could be The Lift Flex, our on-demand microtransit service in Winter Park, or our ADA Paratransit service, providing free, door-to-door rides for eligible riders who are unable to use the regular bus service because of a disability.

❄️ The Lift Flex service area and hours will be changing for winter, so stay tuned for updates!

Curious which service is right for you? Visit www.TheLiftWP.com to learn more about Lift Flex, ADA Paratransit eligibility, and how to request a ride. 💙🚍

A little snow on the peaks, a beautiful drive over Berthoud Pass, and Winter Park just around the bend. 🏔️ It’s the calm before the next storm!

This is my best friend, Teddy. Resident goodest boy a few houses down. We love to show up at each other’s doors unannounced so we can play fight. Our parents would love it if we gave up eating sticks and pursued a career in modeling, but that sounds boring. YOLO.

Hi, I’m Pilot! I’m the real reason that lady started her business. As resident goodest boy, I’m also a rescue from @stealingheartsrescue , and a trained medical alert dog for my best girl, Logan, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when she was 5. I love living in Winter Park because I get to be outside all the time, running, sniffing, and playing with my best friend Teddy (also a pterodactyl …. I mean, Golden Retriever). The lady that lives in my house gives the best walks so I guess I can recommend her for your dog too.

❄️ First in-town snow of the season! Officer Rosa captured last night’s snowy patrol, and we’re ready for winter! 🚔

A friendly reminder: roads may be slick today, so slow down, give yourself extra time, and drive for the conditions. Let’s all get where we’re going safely! 🏔️

Discovering Grand County through my lens. 🏔️

Life is Grand: A Photographer’s Tour is available signed at @mountainshirebooks or not signed at the base of the mountain or online. The calendar is in select local stores or online, and the next book, Grand Peaks, is on the way.

I’ll be sharing details on a few local book events soon, so stay tuned!
