Okay Savannah, this might be one of the most FUN and unique date nights we’ve ever experienced!!! ❤️‍🔥🍒🍸

Dan and I were invited to celebrate our honeymoon at @betterthansexsavannah in Savannah, GA and I have genuinely never experienced anything quite like this place before!!!

The wait staff was HILARIOUS. They are so incredibly good at their jobs and really make the entire experience what it is. The owner herself was SO friendly and we loved chatting with her about our honeymoon. 🥹💕

Okay the desserts - not only were they perfectly named for the occasion 😉 but they were SO rich and decadent. The cocktails were equally as fun and delicious, and something I REALLY appreciated was that they had an entire drink menu just as extensive for my sober husband!! 🍹❤️

The whole experience was playful, a little cheeky, romantic and unlike anything we’ve done before. We were laughing the entire night!!

Overall, a solid 10/10 from us!!! 🌟 Just know this is DEFINITELY not a family restaurant 😂🌶️ But if you’re looking for a fun date night, celebrating something special or just want to experience something totally different while visiting Savannah, ADD THIS TO YOUR LIST!!!

Have you ever been somewhere like this?! 👀🍒 Tell me in the comments & follow along for more of our honeymoon adventures!!

⚡️ Once an industrial workhorse, the Plant Riverside District has officially revived Savannah’s northwest waterfront. The centerpiece is the iconic, 1912 masonry brick Riverside Station power plant, which kept the city running for nearly a century before being decommissioned in 2005. Today, a masterfully executed $375 million adaptive reuse project has preserved the structural history—complete with its famous 176-foot twin smokestacks—while opening up public riverwalk access that was cut off for over 100 years.

MPC meeting details for the self storage facility on land with Conservation as the future land use. They want to rezone a portion of it from conservation to commercial land use. Conserved land and trees are precious.

The developers for this one are @stopnstor ,this would be their 11th facility in the greater Savannah area. Previous stop n stor facilities have done adaptive reuse to repurpose existing structures! See the picture of the converted Kmart - solid idea.

We don’t need or want another self storage facility in this victory/Skidaway area. That would make 6 self storages with in a mile, and 16(!!!) within 2.5 miles, with plenty of others all around the city. We should not give up conserved land in the city for another self storage facility!
