Bitcoin is nonpartisan. But in today’s hyper-political climate, it’s often framed as a right-wing movement. Let’s cut through the noise and explore why Bitcoin is for everyone; including progressives. At its core, Bitcoin is about economic empowerment, financial inclusion, and freedom from centralized control; values that resonate across the political spectrum.

In the U.S., the financial system disproportionately excludes low-income individuals & communities of color. Bitcoin provides an alternative; a global, borderless, permissionless system where anyone can participate. Remittances are a prime example. Immigrant families lose billions to fees from traditional payment providers. Bitcoin fixes this—enabling fast, low-cost transfers without banks or intermediaries.

It turns out that Bitcoin just happens to be the single best technology for using stranded energy, wasted energy, renewable energy, and yes, greenhouse negative energy in the world, and actually flips the equation.

All the arguments about Bitcoin using a lot of energy actually are missing the potential for Mining to transmit energy digitally and mitigating CO2 on an unprecedented level, making the strongest environmental use case of Bitcoin.

Never before, in the entirety of the Human race, has a desirable, decentralized, international, publicly accessible, portable, divisible, unseizable, anti-authoritarian, freedom protecting, equalitarian money of the people emerged from the bottom up of society. Opposing the corruptible, dictating fiat system, Bitcoin enforces Universal Human Rights as laid out by the United Nations. By using bitcoin, you’re supporting freedom fighters globally and helping make the world more inclusive and more energy efficient.

Bitcoin is for women, men, transgender, gender neutral, non-binary, agender, pangender, genderqueer, two-spirit, third gender alike. Bitcoin is for all 195 originating countries’ people of the world and for all social classes alike, untouchables, laboring, priestly, artisans, merchants, rulers, farmers, warriors, slaves, nobles, viziers, peasants, plebs and every other non-human, extra-planetary species or yet-unborn life forms unequivocally and indisputably equal in opportunity through Bitcoin, for all eternity in space and time.

Bitcoin as a technology is astronomically progressive. However, without the dedication, time and love of Plebs to share the knowledge, share their understanding of it, Bitcoin would go nowhere. Value flows into Bitcoin but if the people do not participate, they will only be able to participate to Bitcoin by the use of third parties.

Hence the significance of podcasts about sound money, about environmental narratives, about what Bitcoin can do for the Planet and for the People. Therefore, today’s post is a shout-out to the beautiful and courageous work of interviews by @progressivebitcoiner Hands down one of the most valuable resources to learn about Bitcoin there is out there!
