Alaia turned 1 year old a couple weeks ago, and this was my birthday gift to her!🎉👶🐣🎊🧗🏼‍♀️

I’ve never built anything like this before, but I can say I truly enjoyed the process and the result… and she loved it too! She was trying to climb it even before I finished it, and now she won’t get off until she’s too exhausted to pull herself up anymore.😂❤️
As her grandad put it: “she’s learnt to climb before she could walk!”

Will she even like climbing as she gets older? Probably not, but it felt so natural to gift her something that deeply connects with our lifestyle. And doing it with my own hands in these crazy times of AI, next day deliveries and ephemeral trends was so satisfying!!🤷🏻‍♂️🥰 I’ll add modules to make it taller as she grows up too. She has so much energy that she’ll need a bigger challenge soon!

I may have gone a bit too crazy, as it’s built to commercial gym standards with @euroholds little wooden jugs and @monkeygymcom beautiful pastel holds😅😅😅, so a (short) adult could theoretically climb it too. Taking orders from now on if you want one for your kid!😅😘

Climb Namibia is about more than just climbing at Spitzkoppe — it's about giving back to the community that calls this beautiful climbing paradise home.

This year, we were fortunate to spend a special morning with 23 children, ages 11-13, from the local Spitzkoppe school. With the help of our amazing crew, four generous Spanish and one Italian climber participant, every child had the chance to climb multiple routes on Elephant Rock, enjoy a packed lunch, a cold drink, and a morning full of smiles and adventure.

A heartfelt thank you to our sponsors and supporters who made this possible. Your generosity helped create unforgettable memories and inspire the next generation of climbers.

A typical Day 1 at Climb Namibia. 🧗‍♀️☀️

We kick things off by welcoming climbers to the beautiful rocks - on to the classic Elephant Rock, where everyone gets a feel for the rock, movement, and style that make this place so special.

By the afternoon, it's time to step things up at Dino Rock, where bigger challenges, exciting climbs, and plenty of encouragement await. A day filled with learning, laughter, new friendships, and the first taste of the adventure ahead. ❤️🏔️
