“I love you because the entire universe conspired to help me find you.” — The Alchemist

Today, the founders behind K&K Co. are celebrating 8 years of marriage and 13 years together. 🤍

Long before there was a storefront, workshops, product launches, late-night planning sessions, or a growing company, there was us.

K&K Co. has been built by two people who have learned how to dream together, make hard decisions together, take risks together, and keep building together.

Being husband and wife while also being Founder & CEO and Co-Founder & COO has taught us that partnership is about more than agreeing on everything. It’s about trusting each other’s strengths, staying committed to the vision, and remembering what brought us together in the first place.

Today, we celebrate the partnership behind the business.

13 years together.
8 years married.
And we’re still building.

Happy Anniversary to our founders, Krystal & Al. 🤍

COLUMBIA, MO… how did y’all not tell everybody there’s a NEW plant shop inside Columbia Mall?! 👀🪴

Meet TPS Plants | The Plant Shop, a local, veteran-owned plant shop located in the JCPenney wing inside The Workshop by K&K Co.

And I’m giving them a 5/5. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Whether you’re the plant parent with 47 plants at home 😂 or you’re buying your very first one, there’s something here for you.

Think pothos, alocasias, Monsteras, rare finds like Monstera Mint and Philodendron Billie, plus new plants constantly hitting the shelves.

But here’s what makes this more than just another plant store…

🌱 Plant Bingo Socials
🪴 Plant potting workshops
🌿 Plants for beginners AND collectors
🇺🇸 Veteran-owned + locally owned

And yes, they’ll actually help you figure out what the hell your plant needs so you don’t take it home and kill it two weeks later. 😂

So before you order your next plant online, go see what your LOCAL plant shop has first.

Now plant people, I wanna hear from YOU: What plant are you currently hunting for? 👀 Drop the name below. They might just have it… or need to bring it in next.

POV: I asked Al if I could come to work with him for the day. 😂

Welcome to Part 1 of “Can I Come to Work With You Today?”

First stop: TPS Plants. Al is giving us the rundown on TPS Plants, the plant wall inside The Workshop, and all the plant babies waiting for new homes.

And since we’re talking plants… Plant Bingo is August 22nd from 12–2 PM, and we only have 3 spots left! Eight rounds of Plant Bingo, plants to win, a plant potting workshop, a grazing board, and light refreshments.

Grab one of those last spots, or stop by The Workshop and pick up your next plant baby.

And stay tuned for Part 2 of Come to Work With Al… because his workday definitely doesn’t stop at plants.

Plant lovers, this one is for YOU. 🪴

If your idea of a good time includes new plants, good food, a little friendly competition, and getting your hands dirty, you need to be at our Plant Bingo Social on Saturday, August 22nd from 12–2 PM!

We’re bringing plant people together for 8 rounds of Plant Bingo, with plants up for grabs, plus a hands-on plant potting workshop where you’ll choose your own plant and pot and take your new baby home. And because we’re not playing about the vibes, we’ll have light refreshments and a grazing board while you play.

Come solo, grab your plant bestie, or make it a whole friend date. 🌿

🎟️ Tickets are on sale now! Grab yours through the Linktree in our bio before spots are gone.

We’re taking a few days away from the shop for professional development so we can come back even better for you.

The Workshop by K&K Co. will be out of office June 1 through June 7, and we’ll return Wednesday, June 10 during our regular business hours.

We’ll miss seeing you in the workshop, but we’re excited to bring back fresh ideas, more creativity, and even more ways for you to create with us.

Come see us before June 1, stock up on your favorites, or book your next workshop for when we return.

Thank you for always supporting us, Columbia. We’ll see you June 10.

Me and Arya took a trip to West Bottoms Plant Co. and had the best time. We walked through so many beautiful plants, Arya got to check out the goldfish, and of course… we couldn’t leave empty handed.

We brought home a Homalomena Red Stem and she is STUNNING.

If you’re ever in Kansas City and love plants, this spot is definitely worth the stop. Good vibes, beautiful plants, and a space that actually feels welcoming the second you walk in!!
