I took a beat on the feather crochet hair because I kept hearing concerns about breakage, so naturally, I had to test it on myself. 👀

This time I did a hybrid install with a sew-in in the back, and I still LOVE them. They cut down so much on styling time compared to other options, and I’m all about finding the best way to wear them while keeping the hair healthy.

Reflections from Asia:

1. Always trust your intuition, it’s God’s voice leading you. You don’t have to have all the answers just be obedient.
2. Getting out of your loop will always pay off. doing something a little random is the solution for me everytime.
3. I’m good anywhere I’m at 💯. Traveled across the world and joined strangers who quickly became friends on an incredible journey, I love womanhood fr.
4. The master should always remain a student. Coming here affirmed how much I already know, while still teaching me so many new things at the same time.
5. This hair eco system is vast, there is no limit to what or how you can be apart of it.
6. Blind optimism doesn’t always work: my second visa didn’t come through for my 2nd Vietnam stop and missed out on seeing my sis @shesewbomb 😣😭
Make sure those visas are correct and ready before your flight ☑️.
7. Slowing down is essential. I’m so much better/ happier not grinding, thank you to my man for giving me the freedom to explore the world 🥰 🙌🏽.Partnership is a gift. 🎁
8. I found something special in Cambodia, never would have guessed I would like it there so much but it captivated me.
9. I respect the process of cultivating hair extensions so much deeper now. Being hands on with every part was such a gift.
10. Very grateful for @biancatomara and @bankingwithbundles for her sisterhood and leadership in this entrepreneurial journey. It’s really not meant to do it alone, every time I need a lil motivation she’s that girl 🫶🏽🙌🏽 🥂

I took the trip of a lifetime, and it completely changed the way I see the hair industry.
Vietnam and Cambodia are two of the world’s leading sources of raw hair, and I had the opportunity to experience the entire journey firsthand; from a single-donor cut, to wefting, cleansing, and watching skilled artisans transform it into finished wigs.
Seeing every step of the process gave me a whole new appreciation for the craftsmanship behind every bundle. It reinforced why quality, transparency, and sourcing matter so much to me.
The products I bring to my customers are beautiful AND they’re backed by knowledge, intention, and a story I was fortunate enough to witness with my own eyes. 🤍

I’m still in awe from this experience 🇰🇭💇🏽‍♀️

Most people never think twice about where their hair extensions come from. Have you?

I went straight to the source, met a woman in a Cambodian village, purchased her hair after she chose to sell it, and watched it become wefted the very next day.

This experience gave me so much more context to my where and my why. Women supporting women across continents in a way that’s both meaningful and beautiful.

And let’s be clear 🗣️Not all hair is sourced this way. Single-donor hair is the highest quality you can buy, and the industry’s sourcing practices can vary greatly. That’s why WHO you purchase from matters.
