This summer, supporting our seniors is on the June 27th ballot.

Voters approved this 10-year millage in 2016. Now it is time to renew what works.

✅ 8.4 million meals served
✅ 21,965,034 units of material aid
✅ 25,488 seniors served annually
✅132,621 free rides through Lotus Rides

This is what your tax dollars have delivered for East Baton Rouge Parish seniors. Let’s keep the impact going.

Had an amazing time at the Southern University and A&M College - Baton Rouge, LA Athletic Gala last night! It is always a joy to celebrate our student-athletes and the Jaguar legacy of excellence. Special THANK YOU to Chancellor Alvin Washington and Tracie Woods for the special invite! 😊

The night was topped off with a fantastic performance by the legendary Keith Sweat! It truly was a “Make It Last Forever” kinda night! 😍

Thank you to State Representative Vanessa Caston LaFleur for carving out intentional space for Black women to pour into each other #WomenWhoLeadLuncheon . That when you’re surrounded by excellence, we don’t have to lean into the pomp and circumstance of #blackgirlmagic, but we get to take the cape off from saving the world and soothe our souls.

I love that for us and wish that on all the women in my life this week. You absolutely need women in your life who think you’re a big DEAL!

When women come together, things get done! Tonight, on this #WinningWednesday, nearly 500 powerhouse women rallied with #TeamBroome to make a difference.

Early voting kicks off this Friday, and Election Day is set for December 7th—and these women are fired up to get serious work done! Together, we’re ready to energize our communities and bring voters to the polls.

There’s so much at stake this election, and your voice and support are key to victory. Let’s join forces, take action, and WIN! We can do this—together!

Sean Wallace was the Deion Sanders of SU Football. Kids emulated him, fans couldn't wait to see him, the teams game planned against him, and every coach wanted one. He still talks in third-person and will never lose. You think it's because of his confidence, but it's because of love for Christ and knowing whose he is. I'm standing "Sean Strong" as he takes his victory laps against Pancreatic Cancer, and you should too!!!

Another amazing Dining with Deb on the Vineyard! Everything was perfect and the conversation with @detroitgermaine was so enlightening and necessary. I also thoroughly enjoyed this time to meet many awesome women and reconnect with old friends. Thank you @diversitydeb for continuing to fail at retirement and working to curate this special space for women. ❤️
