🌹🌀There is a path up to La Sainte-Baume that refuses to climb in a straight line. It spirals. The old forest closes around you - beech and lime older than the cathedrals - and the mountain carries you the way deep work always does: not forward, but around and around the same ancient ache until you arrive somewhere you have never been.

🌀This is the spiral. And I lead women up all four turns of it.

🌀To Me. We came up the mountain carrying everything that had ever happened to us - every threshold we’d been turned away from, the whole inheritance of women living within patriarchy.

🌀By Me. Then - the Cave of Eggs. It does not announce itself; you have to want to find it. We chose the dark,
lowering ourselves down into the throat of the stone, past the place where the light gives up, into a chamber the shape of a womb and the shape of a tomb. To descend is a decision. No one carries you down. By our own hands on cold rock, we went all the way to the bottom.

🌀Through Me. And at the bottom, when there was nothing left to do, the doing dissolved. The egg does not strive. It incubates. We let ourselves be held in the black and made new.

🌀As Me. Then the long return - up through the throat of the stone toward the green light, born again out of the mouth of the mountain into the day. And there, in that returning light, I anointed them. One by one - brow, throat, heart — oil and steady hands and the words that name what the dark already made true. No longer reaching toward the sacred. You have become it. Magdalene was not above us or behind us in some holy story. She was looking out through our own eyes. As us. As us. As us.

🌀This is what the spiral does.
It takes the woman who feels life happening to her and turns her, and turns her, until she stands in the light as the living temple itself.
And the spiral keeps turning.

🌹Roman - my husband, whose devotion has never once flinched from the size of this work, and I are leaving now for Switzerland, for our next Tantric Mastermind in the Valley of Falls, where the water pours off the cliffs like grace made visible.

We hiked to the grotto high up in the mountains where Mary Magdalene meditated and worshipped for the last 33 years of her life. From there a challenging hike further to the Cave of Eggs, complete with an anointing ceremony. #europetravel #mythicadventures #luxurytraveller #magdalenepilgrimage

🌀To Me. By Me. Through Me. As Me. — how the White Spring unmakes you.

🌀The White Spring keeps no record of who enters. She only remembers water and the old ways.

🌀We descended into the dark of her — candlelit, cold, the fall of water like a heartbeat held in stone. And there the spiral began to turn.

🌀To Me — the cold takes your breath, the dark closes in, and you are washed by something you did not summon.

🌀By Me — then you choose her. You step beneath the water on purpose, the descent becoming a prayer you are making. The Abbey ruins teach it too: grass that chooses the crack in the wall and grows anyway.

🌀Through Me — the boundary thins. The water moves through you now, the old prayers of this place finding a living throat to sing in.

🌀As Me — until there is no spring, no seeker, no veil. Only the holy wearing your face.

🌀This is the work. Not bypassing the body to reach the sacred, but spiraling through her — until the divine is no longer something we visit but something we are.

🌹Avalon doesn’t open to the seeker. She opens to the one willing to dissolve.

🌹Not everyone makes it to Mary’s cave.

🌹Three stopped at the base last time. Five kept climbing. That’s the moment I stopped calling this work “travel.”

🌹Pilgrimage breaks you open in ways nothing else can.

🌹If you feel called then DM me to get on the waitlist for the next pilgrimage.
