Entire systems of oppression have been built from a single frequency - fear - as a way to build the illusion of control. Because to flow in the wild chaos of life is terrifying, thrilling, undoing. (Questions I ask myself when I am sitting in waiting rooms without a phone) by @tracyallyn

My second dark retreat carried a theme: different aspects of what the word Present holds for us.

This video is me speaking about one aspect - the giddy feeling that if you sit in the present moment anything - truly anything - could happen next.

To truly feel in your body how vast - infinite - each present moment is. To understand that in each infinite moment there are unlimited possibilities.

To know that all of your past and all of your future is right here and right now.

There is a beautiful freedom in understanding this. Not just cognitively - but in your body. The magnitude of “being here now” is so much larger than I could have ever fathomed.

On the other side of this I’m trying not to let external distractions (social media, news, politics) rob me of the power of now. by @tracyallyn

This trip deserves more than a single post, but for now…traveling to Glastonbury and then to the south of France where it is said that Mary Magdalene lived the last 33 years of her life was truly a once in a lifetime experience. It’s one thing to travel with people you do not know - it’s an entirely different experience to be on a pilgrimage with like-minded women who feel like they have always been my friends. Thank you @hallielifson @romanlifson with Mystic Adventure Travel for your depth and your care as our guides . by @tracyallyn

Time with family. Grateful that we all could come together for Luke’s High School Graduation in Oregon. And then again in NYC to celebrate Carsons debut film in the Manhattan Film Festival. My nephews are insightful and caring humans and I could not be more proud of them. by @tracyallyn

A lot has happened since my last post. I haven’t spoken much about it, but one very important effort in my life right now is that I am deeply honored to be involved in the creation of a Buddhist-inspired University.

Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche, a renowned Tibetan Buddhist master, has a vision of a place where we focus as much on our inner development as we focus on what we know.

I do sense that AI has ushered in the death of the knowledge economy and in that we have an opportunity to develop a side of ourselves that we have deeply neglected in our quest to cognitively “know” things. We need a new kind of learning and we need it now.

The beautiful humans I have been honored to work with on this project have impacted me in ways that I am only just beginning to understand. taken in Austria by @tracyallyn

Monday, June 22 at 11:00 AM EST.

We’ll be streaming live on LinkedIn and YouTube, with the episode also distributed across Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, and other major podcast platforms.

What does the way you perform in bed reveal about how you perform in the rest of your life?

This conversation is about the masks we wear, the roles we play, and what happens when we become so focused on getting it right that we forget how to actually experience our lives.

True intimacy is raw.
And deep.

It grabs you from the inside and demands that you be vulnerable enough to bring your whole self to bear.

Together, we’ll explore why it’s often easier to perform pleasure than experience it, why genuine intimacy can feel so threatening, and how the ways we perform in our closest relationships often mirror the ways we’re performing everywhere else.

If you’ve ever wondered where performance ends and genuine connection begins, this conversation is for you.

📅 Monday, June 22
🕚 11:00 AM EST

What did you perform in order to survive?

Welcome to the Edge💙 by @tracyallyn

18 months ago, I went into complete darkness for five days.

What happened was so potent and so tender that I am just now comfortable sharing some of it with you.

I wrote an article on Substack (the link is in my bio) about the bootcamp experience that the darkness offered to me.

The depth that it allowed me to reach in myself, in turn gives me the ability to help my clients go that much deeper into themselves. by @tracyallyn

I have never posted a love note to a brand before and I feel a little bit silly doing so but in the last two years, my Away suitcase has been with me to:

15 Countries (it took a beating in Bhutan and Nepal)

31 unique destinations

100+ flight legs

So when two of the wheels broke I found myself pulling my luggage through the airports because I didn’t think I had time in between trips to get them fixed. I have two days between each of my next trips through May and despite my sore body resigned myself to figuring it out in May before my June travel. My husband emailed Away to tell them the issue and ask what the repair process is.

I literally cried yesterday when I came home from Texas and saw that Away had replaced my luggage. No questions. Not even a response to Tom’s email. Just “here. We’ve replaced it”.

And it’s a newer version with better pockets on the inside.

The relief! The thrill!

@away consider me forever loyal and deeply impressed with your impeccable service. by @tracyallyn

I surfed. And I loved it. And I want more. And look at these cute photos of me and Tom.

But what I really want to share about our time in Kauai feels so radical that it deserves its own post. My next post may be titled “my week living in a matriarchy”. taken in Hanalei Beach, Kauai by @tracyallyn

Hitchhiking in Mexico. At 53 I didn’t have this on my life list. But when the tall Swedish Dr. in our whale camp told us he was hitching a ride to the next town I couldn’t resist.

“May I join you?”

And that’s how I found myself walking on a dirt road with my thumb out.

We were picked up by two agricultural workers. We stopped to help a broken semi truck driver. Me. 1 semi truck driver. A Doctor. Two young men. Flying across the Baja desert at 80 miles an hour on a gas gauge perpetually on empty (magic?). Traditional Mexican music blasting.

This on the day that the cartel decided to blow up Mexico.

Reminding me that the world can be very risky and bad and very good at the same time and that I can live in fear or that I can trust my own discernment in any moment and live as expansively and freely as I desire.

As we unceremoniously spilled out of the car in the next town, the Dr. smiled at me “As far as first hitchhiking experiences go, it doesn’t get more authentic than this”. taken in Baja California Sur, Mexico by @tracyallyn

It's a spectacular thing to see a whale. But our experience with @pachecosecotours was next level.

Let me explain what happened in this video: We were lucky. We found a "friendly". Meaning, a grey whale curious enough that when she saw us she turned around and swam directly toward our small boat. My heart was beating so hard as she swam underneath us and then popped her head up. A gigantic eyeball greeting us. She proceeded to glide along the boat, allowing us to give her a pat before swimming off.

The entire week with Pacheco's Eco Tours was equally incredible. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience with a team who truly understands and respects and protects these awesome animals, I highly recommend. by @tracyallyn
