Trafford AC's Luna El Hassan had the honour of representing Sudan at the Arab Power Games, in Egypt.

Although still U16, Luna battled really well in this U18 Championship, coming a very creditable 5th. Luna showed her competitive spirit by claiming 3 PBs in the final.

She will be competing in Addis Ababa later in the season, in the African Championships.

Think you can call that a triumphant return. Both myself and oz had stepped away from competing in triathlon but we both fancied giving it another go. Oz took on Manchester junior tri last week finishing 4th in the youth category having had a good swim, bike and run. I went to Lancaster university triathlon and in less than ideal conditions finished 2nd overall, 1st 18-24 and had the fastest run split. Maybe a solid winter training we might take in a few more next year 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️ @the.endurancehub @upandrunningoldham @precisionfandh @traffordac @alpinerunproject @acgdaily
