This was one of my favorite sessions from the @youngsurvivalcoalition wellness summit. We sang, we teared up, and we laughed. The incredibly talented @theanniebond led us through 12 healing songs together, and I left that room on such a high smiling. Truly special 💜

I was v nervous going to this event - social anxiety, putting myself Out There about something I’m generally trying to ignore, etc etc
but I did it and I’m proud of myself. I am so inspired when I am in these rooms, the privilege to witness the pain and power of women, to belong to a shitty secret club except everyone in it is incredible.
and yes tomorrow is october 1 which means it’s time to yell on the internet about breast cancer, again 💖

When you meet other survivors and start to share stories, you realize how many different experiences there are that are all “breast cancer.” Different diagnoses, treatments, surgeries, bodies, identities and outcomes.

Sometimes you jump onto the same bed. Sometimes you’re jumping alone on the other one. 😂

That’s why sharing our stories matters. We find each other in the overlap, and we learn from each other in the differences.

Remembering Dolly the best way I know how — through creating. 🩷✨

On the day she passed, I sat down with my junk journal and made a page to honor her and everything she represented to me: kindness, joy, generosity, authenticity, and a whole lot of sparkle.

I had just recently visited Dollywood on my honeymoon in Tennessee, so I still had little treasures I’d saved from the trip — stickers, pieces of gift bags, and other keepsakes. It felt so special to give them a home on this page and take a moment to honor her in my own way. 🥹💕

This is Dolly to me: pink and rhinestones, butterflies and flowers, softness and sparkle. 💎🦋🌸✨

But more than all the glitter, Dolly was a reminder of the kind of person we can choose to be every single day. Choose kindness. Choose joy. Choose love. Make people feel seen. Leave this world a little brighter than you found it.

It felt good to slow down and honor her this way. This little page will forever make me smile. 🩷

Today’s @newh_la event was the perfect way to kick off summer! ☀️ Spending the day cruising on a Duffy with our amazing designer friends was such a fun way to support a great cause.

A huge thank you to our captains, @michelley_bass and @usherphilip, for leading the crew (along with our two adorable Duffy boat dogs 🐶🐶 who kept us laughing all day). Great company, delicious food and drinks, beautiful waterfront views, and plenty of photo-worthy moments made it a day to remember.

Thank you to @dyelot.interiors and Disney for joining us—we had the best time with you all!

At 37, she was planning her wedding. Engagement photos in hand. A whole future mapped out. Then came the diagnosis. 💛

What got her through? Community. The kind she didn't even know she needed until she found it.

A local yoga studio that let her scream, stretch, and release everything she had been holding in. People who picked her up when she had nothing left.

Because when you get a cancer diagnosis, your mind runs in a hundred directions at once.

You want answers. You want control. You want to know everything and plan for everything.

And sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is loosen your grip on what you cannot control and lean into the people who show up for you.

That is what b-present is built on. The belief that community is not optional when you are navigating cancer. 💛

Another beautiful day on the water with our Cancer Fighters and Survivors 💛🌊

For some, this was their very first time in an outrigger. For others, it was their first time back since Camp last summer. Either way—huge wins all around.

These Local Days are all about getting out on the water, sharing space, and just being together—no pressure, just connection.

Family and friends are always welcome—the more to share the stoke with 🤍

So… what is a Local Day Adventure with NAC We Are Ocean?
It’s a day spent with our local community—whether that looks like paddling, yoga, sailing, or more—all centered around movement, connection, and time outside together.

We gather to share an activity, slow things down, and connect with cancer fighters, survivors, and supporters💛.
No pressure! Just showing up and being together.
