I want to introduce you to my junk journal. 🤎

I learned how to junk journal this past December, and it has quickly become one of my favorite creative outlets. It’s been incredibly healing—a place where my love for crafting, art, design, and storytelling all come together on these pages.

I thought I’d start a little series where I share my journal with you. Sometimes the pages are silly, sometimes they’re deeply personal. Some have no meaning at all, and others hold every feeling I couldn’t quite put into words.

This journal is a collection of my life, told through paper, paint, photos, and little scraps that become something beautiful.

Life has been life-ing lately, and I’ve been in a bit of a depression funk. I thought it would be fun to document it — just like @benjaminkielesinski does. He always makes his days look so interesting 🤍

So I peeled myself out of bed and took a little adventure to my local Barnyard Zoo. I slowed down, noticed the simple beautiful pieces of life around me, and just lived in the moment with the animals. I made a new friend with a pony 🐴 and even sat down to paint a few cute faces 🎨

Honestly… it completely shifted the momentum of my day and pulled me out of that dark spiral.

So this is your sign:
Get up. Step outside. Feel the sun on your face.
Your mood might just follow 🌞

Seattle, you were the perfect last chapter to our YSC Wellness Summit weekend! ✨💚

My friend @merymeryl and I spent our last day exploring, and this city has a little bit of everything! Beautiful gardens, art everywhere, museums, sports stadiums, Pike Place Market, and the prettiest waterfront. And, of course, the iconic Space Needle… which we happily admired from the ground! 😂

So many little shops, so many delicious places to eat, and weather that felt like a DREAM after the California heat! 🍂☁️

But my favorite part? Making more memories with my breastie. After a weekend of connection and healing, a day of exploring together was the sweetest way to end our trip. 🩷

Seattle, I’d come back for you!

When you meet other survivors and start to share stories, you realize how many different experiences there are that are all “breast cancer.” Different diagnoses, treatments, surgeries, bodies, identities and outcomes.

Sometimes you jump onto the same bed. Sometimes you’re jumping alone on the other one. 😂

That’s why sharing our stories matters. We find each other in the overlap, and we learn from each other in the differences.

The YSC Wellness Summit will always hold a special place in my heart. 🩷

It gives us a chance to step away from everyday life, heal, and reconnect with a community that truly understands. It reminds us how loved and supported we are, and sometimes helps us process things we didn’t even know we were carrying.

I had the best time with my breasties this weekend. We danced, we sang, and we expressed ourselves in every way. I’m so grateful for the people I shared it with and the memories we made together.

Thank you, YSC, for a beautiful summit and for reminding us that we’re never alone. ✨

My love for puzzles still holds true! I didn’t read that this was going to be a square so I was surprised when I built the border! This puzzle had so much character and I just love looking at beautiful things! This took me three days comfortably. Working on it in the morning and at night right before I start to settle down. Happy belated birthday to my parents! 🥳❤️ @anag.calderon and @loanron2

I wanted to surprise them with a Duffy boat day with some of their friends… but my mom HATES surprises 😂 so of course, I ended up telling them! And honestly, it was perfect because they had the BEST time. 🛥️☀️

THIS is what life is about. Making memories, laughing way too much, and sharing special moments with the people we love. ❤️ I’m so grateful we got to celebrate them this way!
