Spending an afternoon at the Junior Team Roping jackpot hosted by @calgarystampede

Growing up, many of my summers were spent at rodeos and jackpots, around arenas, horses, trailers, and cowpokes.

It was especially exciting to cheer on Avery Herbert, one heck of a cowgirl, along with all of the young cowpokes as they competed in the iconic Calgary Stampede arena.

Kinda chic to remember why life is worth living.

Calgary Stampede is so stuffed full of fun friends (& fits!) I barely have time to snap it, (ok, my hands are usually full of drinks & deep-fry) let alone post it. Catch ups comin’ in….

𝐁𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐨 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 is 31 days out, we are 𝟳𝟬% 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗢𝗨𝗧, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
Calgary’s most anticipated western garden event is nearly here, and it’s shaping up to be something truly special.

The Pure West Art Auction showcases a carefully curated mix of contemporary and historic Western works, while Paul Brandt takes the stage live, all in support of @nimcally. Expect Yellowstone energy, a chance to wear your best western wear, and an unforgettable spread of West-inspired cocktails and bold bites from our partners at @deanehouse.

Thank you for the support of our friends, and food and drink sponsors:

I can only tag 20 farms! Sorry if you weren’t tagged! Feel free to comment your farm below. This comment section will hopefully be a great way to find farms too! And please comment your farm below if I missed you completely! Please include what you provide and location below. ⬇️⬇️
We could only do so much. I’m sorry to leave anyone out, there are many farms across Canada!

There is a link to the guide in my bio if you’d like to share it or come back to it easily!

HUGE shoutout to @themahiidiaries for helping me with this project! She took all the data and made it into this beautiful layout! Possible magazine and also virtual map coming soon.

Recommendation for farms after making this: SO many farms don’t have their location in their Insta bio or easily seen on their website. This is crucial for your business. Make sure you add it along with what you produce and if you deliver! Just a little tip after doing all of this research!!!

Of course the Alberta section is the largest since it’s home for me and I have the most connections here! But it was amazing to see just how many connections I’ve been able to make being on this app, whether it was the farm itself or customers who recommended!!

Thanks so much and I hope this is helpful!!!! Even if it just helps one person connect with a local farm I will feel so happy!

Some farms that were recommended after the cut off time but I still wanted to shout them out:

Manitoba
Jaymarandy Livestock (Beausejour, MB)
Schwabe Pumpkins
FTF Farms MB

Yukon
Yukon Sara Harvest
Yukon Farms

Quebec
Beetroot Community Garden (Hudson, QC)
Pengrove Farm (Hudson, QC)

Ontario
Paperkite Farm
Elmbrook Farm
Jubilee Forest Farm
Chase One Farms
Want Family Farm - (Powassen ON)

Ontario
AE Natural Meats
EFT Farms
Kinghaven Farms
Kooner Farms Organic you pick
Strawberry Creek Farms

Please leave the comment section for farms to add their business!

“Gratitude turns the ride into something bigger than the win.”

Still feeling the energy from Skijordue with @skijorcanada. The greatest show on snow.

As a rider towing a slider/lounge, I don’t take a second of it for granted. Our crew delivered an electric event, and our fans brought the heat. The site was brimming with energy, delectable eats, and an incredible mash-up of cowboy culture, unique fashion, and rad slider skill. A massive thank you to the brands in my corner: @bexsunglasses, @elementsoutfitters, @teamequinesaddlepadco, @backontrackcanada, and more. Hit the link in my bio to learn more and save!
.
Above all – Thank you, Hank! This fire-breathing, palomino never misses a beat, and he truly loves the roar of an amped-up crowd! He’s a powerhouse that doesn’t just run the course… he makes sure everyone’s watching.
.
Grateful for the moments, the horsepower, and the people who make it all possible. See you next year, skijorlings!

Skijor is unapologetically bold.

Equestrian excellence, elite athletes, local businesses, western style, community.

An unforgettable winter spectacle, powered by the spirit of the West and fuelled by the heart of the prairies, creating a space where anyone can saddle up, and every cowpoke can belong.
