Reflecting on my journey as a sound bath facilitator and Reiki practitioner over the years, I realize just how much this path has asked me to grow, not only in how I hold space for others, but in how I hold space for myself.

Holding space for others has been a lifelong lesson in presence, compassion, humility, and continued growth. I will never pretend to be perfect or completely healed. I’m human, and I’m still learning, evolving, unraveling, and becoming.

All I can do is share what I’ve learned along the way and offer what has genuinely helped me on my own journey.

I’ve lived through many versions of myself, and I know there will be many more. Each version has brought me here.

And today, I’m taking a moment to honor her, all of her.

I’m so proud of how far I’ve come, and I’m grateful for the woman I’m continuing to become. ✨

As an advocate and avid daily consumer of cannabis, lately I’ve been reflecting on how important it is to approach our consumption rituals with mindfulness.

One of my favorite techniques is dry herb vaporization—a proven harm-reduction method that can reduce exposure to toxins by up to 99%.

So this September, I’m teaming up with @storz.bickel to go smokeless and explore the benefits of a combustion-free lifestyle one new experience at a time.

Join me and rethink your ritual. 💨🌋

Some conversations stay with you long after the Summit ends💫

These are the words that inspired us, challenged us, and reminded us why we do this work.

Every voice on and off the stage has helped shape what Latinas in Cnnbs has become.

This is more than a conference.

It’s a reminder that none of us have to do this alone.

Your seat at the table awaits! Join us 💖

#wellnessmonday
We need to talk about how hard ( not impossible ) it is to make new connections after 50. Especially when you are rebuilding your whole life from scratch after a tragedy.
You are not the same person you used to be. But you also don’t know who your new self is yet. You are stuck in the middle.
I don’t believe in coincidences. I met Christina @christinaglickman2 when I was at one of my breaking points . She started as a client, but quickly became so much more. Hearing her views on , career, family , turing 50, womanhood completely shifted my perspective .
Then I met Sarh @clarysarah and witnessed the birth of thier podcast, I’m Not Dead @imnotdead.x Being at their New York City launch—during another deeply painful chapter of my life—opened my eyes. It made me realize exactly what kind of women I need in my orbit .
Fast forward to a few weeks ago , we reunited at the Soho House to celebrate the launch of their third season. Sitting in a room full of women who shared their stories, not looking for advice just share , reestablished everything for me once again .
I want to be around women who make me feel safe, not judged. Women who let me be vulnerable. I need women who share their real struggles to inspire others, instead of just posting a perfect life on Instagram. Over 50 you should be done with anything obligatiry & superficial, even if you a history together .
Having Amorinda @tranquilhighs who is helping me deepen my healing journey ( that’s another entry itself ) and having Dani @danisoukup who has been in my life for long time & share my community with them —made the night complete.
My wish for you and for myself is simple: More meaningful, real connections. Less fake, obligatory bullshit.
I can’t wait for season three of the most inspiring podcast out there #imnotdead

And yes - all women on - I’m not dead - podcast made me even more of a life enthusiast , despite everything what I’ve been through .

Have you watched Another Self on Netflix?

That Turkish show where a man named Zaman helps three women heal things medicine couldn't touch — through their ancestors, their family system, their lineage?

What he does in that show is real. It's called family constellations.
And it's based on the idea that the pain you carry might not have started with you.

The anxiety. The patterns you repeat. The relationships that keep falling apart. The heaviness with no explanation.
It may belong to someone who came before you. A grandmother who was never mourned. An ancestor whose story was erased.

In a shamanic family constellation, we make that visible. We enter the ancestral field together — with live drumming, shamanic music, and energy movement. And what was carried for generations, we finally give it back.

I'm Alicia, shamanic family constellation facilitator and founder of Zulu One.
If Another Self woke something up in you — that's not a coincidence. That's your system recognizing the truth.

Our next ancestral healing workshop is right here in Chicago.
Click the link in my bio to register. Seats are limited.

Drop a YES in the comments if you've watched the show — I want to connect with you.
