🪔 The past few months I have been absolutely home sick and longing to be in India with Family. Was missing the craze of cleaning mayhem, the days of making sweets & savories, watching my grandmother & mother make their specialties & my grandfather set up all the lights. And I would spend 4-5 hours making Rangoli (sand art/mandala) at the door step. How I missed HOME and all it’s traditions!
Somehow It also got me that Diwali hadn’t been the same since pandemic. My grandparents almost aged in decades and are not capable of even the basic of things because of how health challenged them. And my mother has always just been that daughter who’s constantly serving and looking after my grandparents, with no time left for self. And the guilt of not being home to help them with everything.

Then I thought that maybe I need to stop waiting for home and try and make our new house a home. I asked my friends, who have never celebrated Diwali if they would like to partake in few things to make it feel more like Diwali. The absolute kind, supportive and amazing humans that they are, jumped with excitement to be able to help me in anyway.
Also our staff went above and beyond to go source the fireworks, the flowers etc and spend hours helping me sent things up and clean things out. That’s the best thing about Bali for me. The People. I’ve never seen such helpful & kind people anywhere else. Who do things for you without us even asking for it.

And Noah makes sure he does anything in his power to make me happy and make me feel at home. This man goes above and beyond for everyone. And that’s what made me Fall in love with him. His deep rooted nature and character to give and give with his empathetic heart.

At the end of the night I was absolutely in awe of the life I have and the people in it. And I FEEL THE LOVE that surrounds us.

He's the one that's strong enough to show his vulnerabilitv and confident enough to be an open book. He's flawed. He's far from perfect.
He's covered in scars. But he's a work in progress. He's quietly chasing his dreams.
Silently pursuing his goals. And relentlessly chasing God. He understands his purpose. He knows his calling. He's a leader and a lover. He's just a good guy.

Gili Air is one of the three Gili Islands just of the coast of Lombok. The tiny island is surrounded by white sand, turquoise water, and great underwater life. The entire northern part of the island is home to sea turtles.

For me Gili Air is the perfect mixture of quiet, relaxation and chilled beach life. There are a few bars and restaurants right by the sea where you can drink and chat till late at night. Big parties are rare here. Instead you have all the more beaches to enjoy the sunsets over Bali.

Progress comes in many forms…

Building batter habits is progress. Going to the gym is progress. Making a better meal decision is progress. Weight loss is progress. Muscle growth is progress. Dropping clothes sizes is progress. Being more comfortable in your own skin is progress. Better blood work is progress.

The more ways you track progress and celebrate progress the more enjoyable the process becomes.

Fuck being perfect… it’s holding you back from true progress. This transformation is pushing 10 years in the making.

Have I been perfect? Absolutely not.

Your thoughts of acting like you need to be perfect are holding you back from progress and consistency.

Stop trying to be perfect. Be fucking consistent.

When you make mistakes:

Acknowledge mistakes, give yourself grace, learn from them, adjust your approach but NEVER lower vision.
