I was sure I wouldn’t make it to 30, but God had other plans for me.

Today I’m 39. Sometimes I feel like I wasted most of my 30s and should have more to show for…

But then I step back and realize that’s a glass half empty mentality… and nothing that has happened in my 30s has happened with that type of thinking or mentality.

I moved my entire life from Los Angeles to Bali and have made this place my forever home in my 30s.

I was blessed with a beautiful relationship and we got married and had a beautiful boy in my 30s.

I was completely sober in my 30s (will be 13 years sober in Jan).

I started from literally ground zero financially and built multiple six figure businesses in my 30s.

I took insane risks with conviction that was so powerful I had no other choice but to succeed in those risks. CONVICTION + FAITH will move mountains in your life!

This is my last year being in my 30s, turning 39 today and I am hungry for change in a few things:

My faith has to be the steering wheel again—it’s taken a back seat.

My family has to be in the passenger seat as they have taken a back seat while I work to “build a future for US” but what good is a future if there is nothing of US left.

My health has to come back to almost being my main priority, because without health none of this matters or will be sustained. taken in Bali, Indonesia by @transformationaltruth

A year into my son’s birth I was convinced that as long as I was providing financial security for the future that was more than enough.

Surely, proving a hope for his future and the future of our family, that was more than enough and was where every ounce of my energy was dedicated…

Earlier this year, because of that fierce dedication for future endeavors I found myself hooked up to oxygen and all sorts of heart monitors in the ICU, and it was this moment for over two weeks in that ICU I had the same vivid dream…
MY son was in a glass box, he was screaming and crying for Dada, but I could only watch him helplessly and not get to him…

This woke me up and made me realize both my son and my wife don’t just need villas, or properties, or financial security or materialistic things… they need ME. They need my presence. They need my attention. They need my deep emotions to be poured into them, even more than I do in my businesses or fighting for the future.

I praise God for that wake-up call, and I will continue to work at this balancing act, because it soothes not just my souls but my son and wife’s as well ❤️

Here’s to 2026 in prioritizing what matters most. And continuing to step back and priorities those things over and over again! by @transformationaltruth

Watching you be such a wonderful father while working so hard for us fills my heart with gratitude every single day. You give so much of yourself, your time, your strength, your love, without ever asking for anything in return. I see the sacrifices you make, the effort you put in, and the way you carry both your responsibilities and our little family with so much grace.
