POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It's hard to explain exactly what I was up to this weekend at Do Bold Sh*t.

But maybe the best way to explain is that it's the best not-conference for people who are wanting to grow, stretch, be challenged in their careers and as people.

It's high energy, deep energy, gentle energy and everything in between.

People sharing their stories, insights, and gifts freely and generously.

And everyone walks away not with what they planned but always what they needed.

Thank you for another incredible event @robbgilbear @curious.hunger

Love you both. 💜

What a journey to get to tomorrow! 😅
Several weeks of writing then reading, then editing, then presenting.

Happiness….tears….frustration…triumph!!
A whirlwind of emotions…each one necessary to get me to tomorrow and stand on that stage and share my story.
I want to express a few personal shout outs:

@bairosretsas - for the countless nights with me, letting me present my speech in your kitchen your back deck. The laughs, the tears, the profanity 🤭. I could never have had a better sister. ♥️YOU are my ride or die and I love you!

@therinarovinelli , @thedanshaikh and Lillie - for all the preparation, insights and coaching through this journey and “holding my hand”….patiently to get me here. 😉You’ve been true confidantes in this process and I could not have felt more support from the @speakerslam Fam.

@bvmecoaching - for being as great a therapist as you are a Coach. Your encouragement and support in helping me navigate, a challenging time in my life, not just the story but the personal experience. Thank you for your guidance in making this into a story I actually WANT to share. 🤗

@debbisluys , @sophiefengaras @happy_healthy_nat @coachnadinez @lindawaltersmtg @thevalvee - thank you for taking your time to share your guidance and support and being a part of this story with me. You each personally dedicated time to meeting with me and sharing your experiences and I can’t thank you enough for the positive influence you each had on me.

To the Speaker Slam alumni that have impacted me (I have tagged you) your love and support has been unmeasurable. You have no idea the courage you have given me with your messages, daily check-ins, motivational insights…I can’t wait to see most of you tomorrow as you cheer us all on!

And to my fellow speakers (tagged), sharing this experience with me tomorrow night…WE GOT THIS and even if we don’t, we are there to love and support one another through this incredible experience. 🙌🏻🤗🙌🏻🤗 (Be prepared - I’m hugging you all.)

Here’s to a good night sleep 😴, a great breakfast 🍳, a five minute jitter-shake 💃🏻 #🕺and a safe drive to TO 🚙.

Worthiness is at the root of almost everything.
Self sabotage. People pleasing. Fear of visibility. Fear of success…and it traces back to the question “am I enough as I am?

I know I have spent a long time trying to fit neatly into boxes. It has not been a conscious thing. But looking back on my multi pivoted career, I recognize that I have tried to neatly fold myself into each new iteration with zero success.

And so I’ve decided I’m going to own my chaos!

💃Who’s with me?

Last week, I was honoured with the Transformational Motherhood & Parenting Impact Award. Thank you @ngozigugoh and @remarkableawardsandgala for the recognition and warmth and energy of the night.

I was never supposed to be a mom. I entered my 20s resolute that I'd never be one, for fear of what I might pass down.

But over the years of healing, growing, and integration of somatic mind-body work into my life... So much has changed and become possible.

The version of me who knows exactly what I'm passing down with intention, no longer at the mercy of stress patterns and reactions. The unshakable bond, laughs, and shares with my kids I feel lit up by every day that didn't feel possible at one time. And the blessing of being able to do the work I do and to help others do the same and be the mothers, leaders, and humans they fully choose to be.

Congratulations to every awardee recognized. @gabymammone @japjiannabas @thekarencraggs - congratulations to you! And thank you @telugu31 @transformwithemmy @johnedwardmcgraw @thedanshaikh for your support! 💜

Sending everyone love and sparkle this May long weekend, if you're in Canada, and the start of the week if you're not. ✨

Your body is still keeping score of every time you had to "stay strong."

In this video we are chatting about an intenSati class I recently practiced with Emmy...how liberating it was and how movement is so key in releasing buried emotions and stress!

When you swallow your truth, suppress your stress, or play the role of the "capable one" to keep the peace, that energy doesn’t just disappear.

It gets stored. In your muscles. Your jaw. Your cells.

Forty years of hyper-vigilance turns into chronic tension, soul-deep fatigue, and those sudden, confusing bursts of irritation. You aren’t angry at the small things; you’re carrying a biological debt.

At Alchemy: A Somatic Reset to Reclaim Your Fire...we aren't talking about your stress. We're moving it 𝘰𝘶𝘵.

Through intentional movement, breathwork, and primal drumming, we are going to shake that stagnant energy loose so your body can finally remember what it feels like to fully let go.

It is safe to stop holding it all together.

🔗 Stop burying your stress. Come release it in a safe, judgment-free space. Tap the link in bio for event details.
