MOST OF WHAT I HAVE TO BE THANKFUL FOR WAS BEHIND A RANDOM GIRLS SMILE.

Man, I am as grateful for my life and all that it is as anyone else who shares in daily gratitude, but I gotta tell you, what I have to be thankful for now… I wasn’t expecting.

It took someone getting shot outside of a club for me to meet someone who would change my life.

As I was forced to stay inside the club after DJing, I walked by a smile that literally stopped me in my tracks.

That smile ended up becoming my wife, the mother of my children, a savior for me and my son, as well as the person I will honor and love for the rest of my life.

I am a pretty grateful dude, to the point, I have extreme gratitude for the things that most would deem the nightmare parts of their lives.

These things made me who I am, and got me to where I’m at today - and, I love both of those.

But, equally important is, I love my life, and I love my wife.

I’m thankful because, I have pretty much anything I could ever want or need, and have the family that I’ve always wanted.

Sometimes I randomly tear up thinking about the little boy version of me and what it took to get me to a place of feeling blessed, and the level of happiness that I have.

There are many things and people in my life that I am thankful for,

but, most importantly,

I am thankful for Jack, Jules, Saint and Sofi - my family.

The only circle I’ll ever need.

A circle I wasn’t expecting - until that smile came along.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Thank you God for allowing me to see 29 years of life today. Feeling extremely grateful for all my family and friends. Happy I’m back in college now. Looking back over the last 9 years of my 20s, I still sometimes can’t believe parts of the experience God allowed me to have.
