What the 2026 Triangle Parade of Homes taught us about LUXURY. 🏡✨ PART 02

Okay, can we talk about how WARM and INVITING luxury homes are getting?! Because I am HERE for it. 😍🤎

One thing that really stood out to me while touring this year’s Parade of Homes was the use of rich, beautiful wood tones EVERYWHERE.

And we’re not just talking kitchen cabinets!

Think gorgeous wood ceilings, statement doors, custom cabinetry + architectural details that bring so much warmth and character into a space. Even outdoor living areas were getting the same thoughtful treatment!

But what really pulled these spaces together? The finishing touches. 👀✨

I’ve always said that hardware is the jewelry of the home, and these builders understood the assignment! From substantial cabinet pulls to beautiful door hardware and elevated finishes, those little details made a BIG impact.

And that’s one of my favorite things about luxury design. It’s not always about adding more. It’s about choosing materials and details that work together to create something that feels uniquely YOU.

The combination of rich wood tones, beautiful craftsmanship + thoughtfully selected finishes? 10/10. No notes. 🤎

Now tell me… are you loving the return of warm wood tones, or are you still holding onto the all-white look? 👀

Stay tuned for Part 03, because we’re talking about some of the luxury features that make everyday living feel a little more EXTRA! 🏡✨

Hard to believe another Triangle Parade of Homes has come to a close!✨

One thing we’ll never get used to? Getting to celebrate the people, passion, and craftsmanship that make this industry so special.

We had a wonderful time celebrating alongside our friends and fellow industry professionals at the HBA of Raleigh-Wake Parade of Homes Awards Gala!

Upton & Co. was proud to serve as a Silver Sponsor of this year’s gala, supporting an evening dedicated to recognizing the talent, dedication, and hard work behind the homes we all love.

The Parade may be over, but our appreciation for the relationships, community, and industry we’re fortunate to be part of never gets old.

Congratulations to all of this year’s winners and everyone who made the 2026 Triangle Parade of Homes a success!

Our annual #NC #ParadeOfHomes outing! 🏡✨

Seeing how home designs evolve each year—the creativity, the details, the luxury—is simply amazing! We toured about six homes this year, ranging from $2.5 million to $10 million.

Our favorite? A cool $4.6 million. That’s all! 😜🤷🏾‍♂️ Mannnn, it had everything we’ve ever imagined in a home!

And the message at church today gave me just what I needed: “Neighbor, my confidence is back!” 🙌🏽 And it truly is!

Therefore, I’m starting a GoFundMe for this property! I don’t need the entire $4.6 million… only $4.5 million! Y’all help me bring this thing on home! 🤣😂🏡
