A Pilot Well-being Training Programme for officials of the Crew Branch has been rolled out by the Directorate General of Maritime Administration (DGMA) in collaboration with Trijog and NUSI, structured around six holistic pillars — Mental & Emotional Well-being, Work-Life Integration, Lifestyle & Preventive Health Management, Nutrition & Healthy Living, Financial Well-being, and Social & Personal Well-being.

Spanning September 2026 to February 2027 across 24 sessions, the programme will be delivered in a Foundation Cycle (September–November 2026) and an Advanced Cycle (December 2026–February 2027) — aimed at promoting employee well-being, resilience, productivity and a positive work environment across DGMA.

The initiative was steered under the guidance of Shri Sushil Mansing Khopde, IPS, Additional Director General of Maritime Administration, and driven by Capt. Nitin Mukesh, Deputy Nautical Advisor-cum-Senior DDG (Tech.) (Crew-Welfare), DGMA.

Sometimes, protecting your peace is the most compassionate thing you can do.

Understanding someone’s pain doesn’t mean you have to tolerate behavior that hurts yours. Empathy and boundaries aren’t opposites they work together. You can care deeply, show kindness, and still choose yourself.

Healthy boundaries aren’t walls; they’re acts of self-respect.

“I don’t know.” “Nothing.” “Leave me alone.”

If you’re parenting a child between 11 and 14, you’ve likely heard these phrases more times than you can count.

When big shifts happen in early adolescence, kids often lack the concrete emotional vocabulary to explain what’s happening inside. So instead, hurt looks like anger. Overwhelm looks like a total shutdown.

As parents, we want to help, but pushing for answers usually pushes them away.

That’s why we created Feelings are Fun: an expressive art therapy program designed specifically for pre-teens and young teens. Through creative art exercises, metaphors, and guided reflection, we help them build a healthy relationship with their emotions before they feel overwhelmed.

Our July batch is now open for a small, supportive group. Give your child the tools to understand themselves better.

✨ Details: Online via Zoom | Ages 11–14 | Twice a week

Sometimes, the people we love can unknowingly make us question our worth.
Shashi's story in English Vinglish isn't just about learning a new language—it's about rediscovering self-worth, confidence, and the courage to see yourself beyond others' judgments. ❤️
✨ Your value is not defined by your flaws, your accent, or what others think of you.
What part of Shashi's journey resonated with you the most?

Everyone talks about Kabir's anger, but what can Preeti's silence teach us?

Sometimes, in relationships, we become so focused on keeping the peace that we stop expressing our own needs, boundaries, and voice.

💭 Was Preeti's silence a choice, or was it conditioning?

Tell me your thoughts in the comments. 👇

Sometimes anxiety isn't a sign that something is wrong.

It's a sign that your nervous system is trying a little too hard to protect you. 🌿💜

Mental exhaustion doesn't always look like doing "nothing." 🤍

Sometimes your mind has been working overtime—overthinking, worrying, processing emotions, and carrying things no one else can see.

If you've been feeling tired lately, be gentle with yourself today. 🌿

✨ Save this for the days you need the reminder.
