A few years ago, I lost one of my best friends to cancer. She was in her early 30s.

Her loss changed how I saw everything — especially my own health. As a busy entrepreneur, it’s easy to put yourself last, but I started learning what lifestyle adjustments I needed to make thanks to @alannahconnealy & @connealymd 📚

The more I learned, the more it hit home: cancer diagnoses in women under 50 are rising, and breast cancer is the most common one.

Spent a very special couple of days in Boston with @theshiftison for their inaugural Shift Makers Awards in celebration of Women’s History Month at the iconic Harvard Arts Museum. I also got to speak alongside some incredible women on the subject of cultivating culture at the historic Harvard Loeb House. Not bad for a university dropout! Thank you for having me, @shilpay You and your team are magic ✨

When I first launched @breakthelove, the Startup Girl Foundation was one of our earliest investors. Full circle moment for me to have Break Sports honor @eileengu as the inaugural Sports Shiftmaker last Friday at The Shiftmakers Awards.

It was incredible to see 4 women shifting society honored by @theshiftison while surrounded by so many dear friends, who have supported me throughout the years this Women’s History Month ❤️
