Water really is my happy place! 💙🌊

Yesterday, I went cold-water swimming with @triswimltd and it was absolutely beautiful. There’s something so freeing about swimming in fresh, open water—it made me feel completely alive!

A huge thank you to Laura for encouraging me to take the plunge. There were even dogs joining in, wearing their little life jackets! They weren’t mine, but perhaps I’ll bring my two next time… although I’m not sure they look quite as adventurous! 🐾😂

I already can’t wait to go again. Sometimes happiness really is as simple as taking the plunge. 💦

Evenings at the lake >
Caleb ADORES the water and it’s so brilliant that @triswimltd allow kids to dip too!!! It’s day 6 of my liver reduction diet before surgery and I managed to accidentally burn more calories than I’d eaten for the day 😅 glad I stuck to the small loop when C&J got out to have a picnic! Perfect Saturday evenings *do* exist ✨

June was a full month. As we are nearing the end, I am reflecting on how I felt resourced.

I was chatting with my friend Antonia about nervous system regulation and she was sharing how challenging the simple thought of slowing down was. Here is what I shared with her. Each week, I schedule time in my diary for either resting or slowing down, this is a non negotiable part of my day.
Resting for me is not pushed down at the end of the day when there is nothing else to do. Resting is part of my day and I apply numerous proven practices to down regulate my nervous system. When I notice my mind getting into stress mode, I don’t let it escalate. I work with the body to down regulate.

My one-to-one offering is full with people who need help to rest and restore. I work with busy, anxious and overstressed souls. I love supporting them to achieve a state where they feel relaxed, calm and grounded.

If you want more information on how I can help you, just text REST in the comments.

My month summary from the slides:
1- Hosting a retreat for exhausted souls, yoga, stretches, deep rest with sound healing ❤️
2- Goat Yoga, a deeply calming experience.
3- Thank you @kentwellnessfestival for inviting me again to teach 2 classes at this wonderful event.
4- Loved celebrating with my friends with @mumsinbusinessnetwork
5- Thank you @triswimltd for inviting me to teach at the solstice event
6- So grateful for being a finalist at @thetnawardsco, loved celebrating all the amazing businesses of Tonbridge!
7- Resting, which was high on the agenda this month. Still beaming from yesterday sound healing at @flourishwellnessuk, thank you @heartful.soundhealing 🤩

In the last few months alone for my actual work I have…

Loudly rang a bell and shouted at women with @mumsinbusinessnetwork to move along….love that for me. 🔔

Been to Italy with a @the.sidekick.co client filming for her incredibly gorgeous retreat in Italy, I’m talking open water swimming, wine tasting, pasta making, the whole shebang. 🇮🇹🍝🍕✈️

I’ve hosted a stunning party in a stunning location with women I get to call my friends with @mumsinbusinessnetwork 🥂❤️

And accompanied my fantastic butcher client to a free range free roaming chicken farm, which I promise was more fun than it looks 😂🐓

What an actual life.
