Marloes Got Wedding-Ready and Found a Love for the Gym!

Marloes came to me feeling overwhelmed. She’d never been to a gym, didn’t focus on her diet, and had low energy. With her wedding coming up, she wanted to feel her best but didn’t know where to start.

In 6 months:
✅ She lost 10 kg
✅ Dropped 15 cm from her waist
✅ Went down 2 dress sizes.

Her energy shot up, she made better food choices, and surprisingly, she fell in love with training. Even after her wedding, she’s still going strong at the gym.

HOW DID WE DO IT:
🚀 Just 2 weight sessions a week.
🚀 A flexible protein & fibre focussed meal plan that included her favorite foods.
🚀 Added movement targets that she was able to fit into her day. This alone gave her way more energy!

Now Marloes feels strong, confident, and energised...and she’s loving the process.

Comment “CONFIDENCE” and I’ll send you the exact framework that she used.

After 25,000kms we reached our goal of reaching France. Overlanding needs 110% of you. Every day needs countless decisions and navigating the unfamiliar and unexpected. It is strenuous and the best thing you’ve ever done at the same time. And so we used some time to recharge with both friends and family.

Then it was time to tackle some Troopy projects before we head off and explore Morocco.

First, an upgrade on our vehicle’s headlights. We ordered new Stedi LED headlamp bulbs. Replacing them looked simple on Youtube, but it took some cursing and 4 hours to get them in, however, what a difference. Now we will feel safer driving at night when it cant be avoided.

Then a new wood finish on the cupboards. Looks great with our rug from Uzbekistan. The bench seats haven’t been very comfortable so we found a solution for some handy backrests when the roof is up. And best of all… our new Nakatanenga diesel heater arrived. Boy do we wish we had this when we started our trip almost a year ago. Keep an eye out for a future post on this heater. It’s a game changer for us. Next stop, Algeciras for the ferry to Tangier. #troopylife #overlandadventure

State of Queensland, Australia - seen last week in Luxembourg-City, Luxembourg.

My second Australian spot of the year, nearly 16,200 km away from home. Massive thanks to @troopofalifetime_ for their kindness and good luck in their world trip!

Nothing like a river crossing and wheels on the beach. It’s a vibe.
