Northeast legend Troy Fauteux (@troyf42) had an excellent first trip to the New this past spring, ticking some of the iconic highball boulders and roping up more than anyone expected! Troy is a total volume master with a knack for diving deep on any area he travels to. This visit opened his eyes to the depth and quality to be had in the NRG!

Here is showing us how it’s done on Jimmy Webb’s (@jwebxl) bounty boulder, Get Rich or Die Trying (V11) at Fern Creek. We look forward to your next trip, Troy! Thanks for coming.

Wow, I’ve missed California and these sweet little moments. The Valley spirits were very good to me. And as always and forever, grateful for friends. ❤️✨

It's incredible to think that after meeting young crusher Austin Hoyt only a few years back I'd be spending time documenting him utterly smashing boulders nearly every time we get out.

From a hell of a first trip to Squamish last fall, to the fifth ascent of The Process (v16) very recently, I'm stoked to share a few bangers from what I've witnessed. Welcome to the v16 club @hoyt.austin !

I had the privilege of being able to spend the holidays in Bishop California with some of my best friends. Leading up to this trip, i was trying to manage constant back pain, it was to the point where I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to really climb at all. With these circumstances, I decided to limit my climbing expectations, making being healthy enough to climb at all my only real goal. Thankfully, I can say that I achieved that goal, as I was able to do lots of amazing climbs. Although blessed to be healthy enough to climb, we got a bit less lucky with weather, facing lots of snow in the first half of our trip. This caused us to spend lots of time inside at the hostel. The silver lining to this situation was that us being stuck inside gave us opportunities to meet lots of incredible people and do lots of fun activities. We made friends from all over the world this trip, and I hope to see them again! Even though we weren’t able to climb as much as we wanted to, I still think this is one of if not the most fun trips I’ve been on. (Stay tuned for more about this trip)

I can’t wait to go back to Bishop ASAP to try climbs that I wasn’t able to because of the snow!

Special shoutout to Greg and Eugene for driving us around and saving us rental money ❤️❤️❤️

Great times with great people despite all the snow and bad weather we got.
Thanks to everyone I met for making it memorable.
