Got it done!!

"The Buttermilker" V13✔

This one felt like years in the making. Years of not just becoming a stronger climber but more importantly a better and more strategic climber.

Today was my 9th day working it this trip and probably my 14th over the course of 3 trips and has been by far my longest and hardest project out of any trip I've been on. Happy to stick with it and see it through to the end with good friends supporting!

Oh and I sent "Already Forgotten" V12 right after!

Try harder!

“Mind Stream Sit” V13

Epic one from Smugglers Notch in Vermont today. Although this wasn’t the send burn I love sharing part of the battle on these climbs we put our heart and soul into. Thankfully I ended up sending a few goes after this!

I originally sent the stand start back in 2019 then started trying the sit in 2020 when it was still a project. @therealwhitewhale actually came up with the vision to inspire me. Then in 2022 @brycev123 made quick work of it for the First Ascent.

Stoked I could finally get the full line done 7 years after sending the stand. It’s been awesome to see all the development over the years and Smuggs remains one of my favorite climbing areas in New England.

Throwback to an awesome winter in California.
Yosemite + Bishop❤️

This past winter was my 10th road trip across the country. Always grateful for the opportunities I’ve had and the people I’ve met along the way. Thanks for keeping climbing fun. You all are awesome!

One of the best lines in the Southeast. Dry fire mid crux made this one even more memorable. Still can’t believe I actually held it! Huge shoutout to the crew for the support. This one is mega!

Fun weekend at the New River Gorge in West Virginia.

Took 2nd Place at the Pirates Cove Plunder Boulder Competition. My first outdoor comp! Had a great time climbing with new people and sampling new boulders!

Huge shoutout to @eric.jerome for running the event. There were around 170 competitors and it was a great way to raise money for the @nrac.official

I was able to finish up the 6 hour comp with a buzzer beater of Rudder and Sails V8 in the baking sun to secure 2nd.

Here’s a couple highlights from the past few days. This place is sweet!

Talk about a scary last move!

“Dogwood” V12

Stoked to take down this iconic line featured in Dosage.

I fell on the last move 6 times and every time I got there it felt like I couldn’t move. You’re squeezing as hard as you can just to stay on the wall then somehow have to jump to the lip from there! Amazing climb!

I also managed a few other sends the same day!

• “Diamond” V8 1st go
• “Diamond Right” V10 2nd go
• “Shadow Warrior” V11/12 2nd go
and finished the night with a flash train on “Across the Tracks” V10 with @hoyt.austin

Great day and with that my top 3 list in Yosemite has been complete!

King Air V10 Flash

This has to be one of the proudest V10’s in the world. Standing under this thing in person is truly insane. Top of my list coming out here. Stoked to get the ground up flash and have @hoyt.austin follow up a few tries later!

I was certain I would go left hand on the higher crux but hesitated and on the spot decided to go right hand instead. Pretty insane move high off the deck. Stoked for a few more days in Yosemite!

I first did Mandala 9 years ago. Awesome to come back for the direct all these years later which is maybe half a grade harder but never gets done! We love the obscure lines!

Got to checkout Rock Creek near Bishop for the first time this week. Spent the last 3 days there and managed a pretty sweet tick list of about 30 new boulders. This was my proudest send.

“River Face Arete Sit” V11

This involved the perfect amount of power and technique and was a fun puzzle to unlock. The sequence I came up with involved standing on the worst foothold I’ve ever used. I fell on the same move around 20 times but thankfully only had to stick it once to send!

My high point on “The Fly” from a few weeks ago. Couldn’t get it done this year but gave it a good run and made some huge progress. Feeling pretty inspired by everyone who has sent this line. You guys are my motivation and I’ve watched all your videos tons of times. Can’t wait to join that list.

Thanks to everyone who traded belays with me. It’s been fun going back and forth between Bouldering and Sport Climbing this season. Planning to be at Rumney a bunch again next year!
