someone really close to me once said my work is girly, and it might be, but what it also is…

me choosing softness in a world that rewards the opposite. pressed flowers, slow hands and the stubborn hope that kindness isn’t naive.

i’ve been hurt and tempted to harden. my work is me deciding not to.

so yes, maybe it’s girly. it’s also the bravest thing i know how to make, and i’m deeply grateful it found a small place among so many artists i admire at the officine saffi award.
