So fortunate to have gotten the opportunity to perform and represent our country at the Handover Ceremony at the Commonwealth Games 2026, Glasgow ✨

Little did I know that this journey would take me so long to process and put out here as a post. Right from stepping into the rehearsal space of Shiamak Davar Institute of Performing Arts to the last few rehearsals, that place felt like a warm welcome to walk into. Unfamiliar faces became favourite companions for almost 3 weeks, friendships that were made over conversations and a common love for dance.

The journey taught me not only dancing, but discipline, creativity, commitment, pushing your body more than it can, understanding that the sky is just the limit, and so much more!

Every practice, every performance, and the travel to the rehearsal space in Edinburgh will be a favourite memory to keep looking back at. Shiamak Sir and his team are such amazing, wonderful people to work with. The way they made us all feel one with them and enjoy the process still makes me smile. 🫶

Grateful for all the people i met through the journey and spent time with. Thanks for making Edinburgh work-travel-holiday fun for me! ♥️ you know who you are 🌸🥹

Will always cherish the entire Scotland journey and little Richa is still processing so much but is proud of where we’ve reached! Miles to go, onwards and upwards 🧿✨

(more pictures coming your way🐽, this is only a small part)

Life came full circle this morning, in the most beautiful way.
The little Sanjana I once taught now stands as a teacher, shaping young dancers of her own.

As I sat there today, not as a guru but as an examiner for her students, my heart was quietly overwhelmed. Watching them dance—with such grace, anga shuddham, and sincerity—felt like witnessing a legacy unfold.

In every movement, I could see a reflection of her journey… of years of dedication, love for the art, and unwavering commitment.

Blessings to my dear student @sanjanarathikasat and to her students @saanjsangam may this journey continue to grow, inspire, and come full circle in many more beautiful ways. ✨. #bharatanjalinrtyalaya #gurushishyaparampara #fullcirclemoment #fromstudenttoteacher
