POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

When I purchased my HYROX ticket in May, I decided I was going to go solo this time, with two goals: show up with proper abs and finish under 90 minutes🫀

I went into a pretty intense calorie deficit for two months, but as race day got closer, I realised I couldn’t sustain it without affecting my running. So the real challenge became finding the balance between staying lean while eating enough carbs to keep my performance up and not gas out.

Before the race, @ansh_thakkar told me, “If you finish the burpees within 45 minutes, sub90 is in sight.” I finished the burpees at 45 minutes and a few seconds, and that’s when I knew sub90 was genuinely within reach.

Then came the cramps 🥲
During the second last run before the sandbag lunges, I had to decide whether to push through or go to the medic. I chose the medic, got some spray, then went on to complete the lunges while still cramping. I went back to the medic afterwards, finished the remaining run and somehow got through the wall balls with the cramps still kicking in.

I finished in 95 minutes, just 5 minutes away from the goal💔

Not the sub90 I wanted, but considering everything that happened out there, I’m genuinely proud of this one. New HYROX PB and definitely a race I’ll remember❤️‍🔥

A special thank you to @trusha_daware @tanvii_gawdee @yashp2211 and @ansh_thakkar for showing up, supporting me and cheering me on throughout 🫶❤️

And a big shoutout to @brute.mma all those sessions made the stations feel like a piece of cake, especially the burpees 🥵💪

Sub90 didn’t happen this time. But I’m coming for it in the next one and I know 100% I’ll get there 🫡🔥
