The comparison makes me uncomfortable. It felt as if i was saying, “Look what i have, and they don’t”

But that isn’t the message.

The message is that something as ordinary as choosing your education, your future, your clothes, or your partner is still out of reach for millions of Afghan women & girls.

Posting this because this is the reality of Afghanistan today.

Not to compare lives, but to remind people that rights many of us consider normal are still being denied to others
