I'm so thankful I had the chance to sing at a live choir concert with @websteru_aurelia yesterday! I've been a part of this incredible group since I started at Webster, and performing with them will be one of the things I miss the most as I leave! Love you guys! 💕 #choir #concert #livemusic #treblechoir

Hey y’all! My name is Tristessa, but people call me Tess (My parents named me after a Smashing Pumpkins song). I’m a second-year composition major and a member of Aurelia. I became a musician because my parents are an art-rock/folk duo, and music was inescapable! I think they raised me just to be their multi-instrumentalist🤔. I love choir and small ensembles! I was in my high school’s chamber choir, and I received the National School Choral Award. Some musicians that inspire me are Sting, Nick Drake, and Sarah McLachlan. I think something that connects them is they all write songs that aren’t about love or relationships, and there aren’t enough of those! My favorite concert I’ve been to is definitely Billy Joel in 2017 at Busch Stadium. We had 11th row seats!
